In terms of the outcome of this season, changing the manager won't change anything. However, how can he possibly take us into the championship season after this and have any trust from anyone?

Completely agree. Would have thought continuity would have been good before but he's been so poor that he can't continue next season.

That probably leaves us in Dean Smith type territory for the remainder of the season unless we think a good long term option is available.

Has any student of Ferguson ever been a good coach? If we don't sack him we're actually finished, today was genuinely the same as the last game cooper played before getting sacked, but at least we scored in that one

When you think that we'll be a relegated team with parachute payments, that could be attractive to someone. However, we may still have a points deduction and/or a transfer embargo. With that hanging over our head we're not an attractive proposition.

I was sat in good view of him today and I found it really interesting. He was pulling his hair out trying to get them to move the ball forward. When a midfielder or winger would turn back and pass it backwards he was visibly agitated.

Clearly the team has a huge disconnect to what he's asking them to do.

I think his frustration has been evident for a while...either it's his communication with them or they are just lazy, entitled "players" who don't care either way as they will hot foot it out when we are relegated

Easy Kop out, buck stops with the manager if it’s simples things like passing. Here is a wild idea, if you don’t want your players to be devoid of any confidence maybe don’t tell them they they don’t have the quality to compete

Do we think Rohl would take the job at this stage? Is it a good idea to have someone on downwards momentum anyway? I don’t mean professionally, but just another 11 games of us losing might be hard to hit the ground running from next season. Whereas a new manager in the summer brings optimism

Ruud must feel proper conned by the board... must have turned to rudkin at brentford and said "wow these players are bad, thank god January is coming those transfers funds you mentioned will certainly come in use"...

Look it’s so very easy, mutually agree with ruud for him to leave before he loses every game and leaves himself no chance of future employment. Pay him until the end of the season and let him say he’s walked.

Give kingy the job until the end of the season. it will be a welcome morale boost at the club and great experience for him. He either pulls off a miracle (I wouldn’t put anything past him) or he just gets us going down hopefully with a little bit of fight.

Reassess in the summer and start the rebuild. No reason to waste money on anyone at this point so why not just give us something. For kingy, it could be a leap towards management like it was for Ruben selles despite him getting hammered every week.

I think he would, for all of our problems with the ownership, Wednesday are in a far worse position, for example at the end of the transfer window Chansiri held multi hour meeting with fans where he admitted he had not spoken to Rohl directly since November (whilst they struggled to bring any signings in)

He told the fans if they want him to sell up so badly the fans need to find the buyer if not he’s going nowhere, he’s on multiple occasions and under multiple managers not paid the players, infact when Rohl first joined Wednesday there was a dispute where some players had not been paid for a month.

Chansiri also told the fans late last year that if they hate him so much he will not put another penny in, and the fans need to repay the club loans each month.

Wednesday are in a far worse position than us, have a far worse squad, Rohl has had to rebuild the squad with 14 free transfers and loans, and 4 players costing a total of 5m combined.

Our relegated squad is superior to Wednesday and we will be getting parachute payments, we have some great young players and one of the best facilities in world football.

Rohl comes here 100% imo, maybe not now, but in summer if we act quick he will.

What’s this obsession with bringing in Andy King, with zero managerial experience, in as the temporary manager and expecting him to do any better than Ruud against experienced Premier League teams and managers?

Quite honeslty...who gives a sh*t about the protocol at this point? Van Nistelrooy's made a goddamn fool of himself and has ruined his reputation for the foreseeable future.

Looking at how we play, its clear he values way of playing over what is needed to get results.  This is naivety and so I am struggling to back him.  Reminds me of Enzo and Rodgers.  But those two at least had some credit in the bank with results (and Trophy in Rodgers case).

Is that ****ing idiot Top aware of this run or just sat there with his finger up his ass. This guy has to go tomorrow. That was a disgrace. The entire period has been a disgrace.

Whats ironic is when he sacked Cooper he said he did it early to learn from Rodgers, but then he isnt being consistent here.

People also justified it because of way we playing as supposedly a reason.  But the facts are we went from a very long run of games of scoring every game and being in almost every game (even though many didnt like the football), to this now where its just embarrassing, and we cant even score anymore.

Another thing I noticed is defensively we look way less organised, and people thought it was bad before.  We back to how we we looked under Enzo struggling to score from slow paced buildups.

because we’ve all accepted our fate already.  so why not give a cult hero a crack.

there’s not a manager in football who could turn this around and the board know this, that’s why ruud is still here

I wouldn't want him to have that burden. I like Andy king and I wouldn't want it to be ruined by this group of spinless players.

I'd just give up the season now as we can't win for the next 6 games at least, so what's the point in continuing.

We are the worst team in the premier league and the board have done that with utterly stupid decisions.

The Scenes as Rudkin Sacks RVN and he announces he's taking temporary charge.🤣🤣🤣

Might not be a bad thing, seasons dead and buried now anyway, but reckon a couple of sobering defeats and old Rudders would be getting a right old earful on the touchline might be the only way to finally get him out of the club.

If we're going for anyone it'll be Richie Wellens... probably with Andy King as assistant.

The players are an utter disgrace though... and a massive clear out is needed

It isn’t important who comes in now. We're finished. We need to sack him on the basis of whata happened and happening is unacceptable and we dont tolerate it.

Work on a Championship manager and forget this season.
