I don't want him in charge, but I reckon even RVN will have us comfortably top 6. I think we're still another 2-3 years of mismanagement away from being a mid-lower championship team.

With the players I'd expect him to have at his disposal I'd expect 99.9% of managers to have us top 6 quite comfortably.

I don't want him anywhere near us though purely for the fact he doesn't care about us or his team. He absolutely loves hugging the opposition at full time. Ignores the fans and basically ignores his own players.

Personally i would just take the hit, if we lose 10 points then so be it. Yes we all want prem league footy but imo we dont want to be promoted next season as we will be relegation fodder again, we need possibly 3-5 yrs to build a squad capable of staying up.

You just have to remember that he willingly played Soumare every game.

I don't even have to remember that

Utterly shambolic on every level.

If they give him next season it confirms the level of insanity that exists in that boardroom..........obviously already confirmed

It’s going to happen because our owner is lazy and incompetent

Can we afford, & I don’t mean financially, to clear the board and sack RVN in the same window?

You’d assume all that will happen then is a dragged out process to firstly get a new DoF and whoever else on the board before a manager is finely appointed.

Then they go through the process of saying it’s a clean slate for all the players and take another month checking them over to finely realise most need shifting, they then look at the academy lads but the new manager who hasn’t the trust in them yet goes out and buys new players pushing back some of those that have broke through.

If we have the chance of moving on Rudkin or RVN I’d rather Rudkin went, least RVN has made his mind up on most things & we can’t trust Rudkin not to just say to a new manager there’s your squad use them all bringing back in those we don’t want anymore 🤷‍♂️

He has no interaction with the fans.
He hasn’t improved one player since arriving.
He has an abysmal record of 17 defeats out of 19 including no goals at home in 9 consecutive games.
He has no tactical awareness about him.
He has no intention of playing young players.
Based on this and idiots above him it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he’s in charge next season.

This, those above need to move first. You are just tinkering around the edges and papering over cracks with anything else. If Rudd really is more incompetent than the other managers they’d likely bring in we deserve whatever we get.

Also I’m not in the slightest bit bothered about having a manager to come clap the fans, or come and do some tinpot fist pumping to yeahs after every win, so tin pot! Come celebrate when we do something worthwhile.

Or they act in July, faff around then bring in Brussel and he’s even worse, which is likely if these clown are around. If the are going to do something they need to get on with it, waiting for PSR windows will set us back when we could be developing something even if it’s not ideal, we just need to know so we can begin to work with it.

If the club came out and said look we financially fooled, we can’t afford to sack the manager, we need to clear out the big wages, use the young players and spend very wisely we could get behind that it’s the lack of anything that ****s me off.

What is can't reconcile with my brain is if the club can afford to sack him in this seasons accounts then why is he still here? If they can't afford to part ways then it is truly mind blowing how we've left ourselves in this position. I can't imagine the club still believe he's the right man to take us forward, surely not?

Questioning the same thing myself, also gets me wondering, in January we was quoted to have £10m available in transfers, we sold Cannon after that quotation, we only brought Coulibaly for £2/£3m…. Where has the rest of the money gone? Have we f**ked up the accounting that badly once again in January????

The fact we didn’t negotiate a relegation clause into RVN’s contract is also shambolic.

we will have an £89m loss 22/23 and a £19m loss 23/24, so dont we need to have earned a profit this season to have not broken PSR?

I’ll be honest I don’t know how it works with changes in leagues.

it now doesn't matter what league you're in due to change in rules just recently, we need that £89m loss to drop off, I reckon this season we'll consolidate, I reckon they'll count every penny

Those are published losses, not the final PSR calculation losses accounting for add-backs etc

Cannon’s fee was projected to be received in the summer. That was just covering the summer’s transfer business. Zero kitty without departures for January

Love how people take a Rob Tanner article and think RVN js staying.

You only have to listen to him on Radio Leicester to realise he doesn't have a clue.

I think it say in the article only 1 person knows and that’s top and he might bowls even know.

And refuses to admit he made a mistake in appointing him in the first place!

The article also openly says that nobody has a clue, including Ruud himself, because the board are keeping everyone in the dark.

It just says he'd LIKE to stay and what choice does he have? He's absolutely decimated his reputation, he looks a complete fraud. Any good will he got out of one season at PSV has gone. He's been shown up by Steve ****ing Cooper.

His best chance of recovering his reputation is getting us back up again with a squad he likes and be knows we're due a rebuild.

Personally I don't want him anywhere near it. That shit in the Tanner article about "the fast attacking, high pressing style he wants to play" is absolute fiction. Ruud is a fan of the mid-block, the most passive, awful defensive model in football and the complete antithesis of whatever spirit of Leicester there is.

In fairness he admitted his mistake pretty quickly on Cooper. It won't be about admitting mistakes now, it'll be purely financial.

Not sure anyone could think hiring Ruud was anything other than a mistake!
