I know this might be very old school but guys like Knockaert, Kante and Riyad use to live in the blue building next to the railway station. Always thought that should be a norm. There are also a lot of very nice places in Leicestershire. Can never understand why living in a city outside of Leicester makes sense given places within the county lines.

West Bridgeford to Seagrave will be quicker than some parts of Leicestershire to Seagrave.

I get that, like I said, its thinking which is pretty old school. But with a training ground away from "the people" and the staff living away, is there any connection - it is just a job.

I think its probably status quo at most top clubs these days. Given the money and status of these players no-one in the right mind will want to be squatting next to Leicester Train station.

In agreement there are plenty of nice places to set roots in the county. I guess we have the advantage of being from here and have the know how, if someone said to me find a house in Southampton I wouldn't know where to start, even harder if you're a foreign player coming ober to this country for the first time.

Look on Rightmove isn't rocket science to find the decentish areas..

Didn't Kasper still live in Manchester, and drive each to and from there each day? Pearson in Sheffield too when he was with us.

What dim-witted Forest fan would buy a blue sweatshirt?

That would be like a Leicester fan buying a red away top, and wearing it at home to Man Utd.   It would never happen, would it?    Err ............

I doubt Cooper would do something like that. Poor.

Used to drive round with Forest merch in his car, even on match days. Made me so cross whenever I saw it

Club had a house in Stoneygate that Sven, Ranieri and Chilwell/ Maddison have all used at some point

Fair certain the club have a number of flats in the development next to the City Ground. Tete used to give us daily updates of the River Trent.

Does fatawu live there too?

They own at least one penthouse in that building for sure, and I believe Fatawu’s place further down the Trent.

So for those saying “they should live in Leicestershire” the club aren’t helping with that lol

Dont see any problem with it to be honest… probably because I live in Nottingham though lol

I think the club has people that do that for them.

I’m not from the area but out of interest why is that?

Looking at the map the training ground looks a lot closer to Leicester than Nottingham.

It is a bit strange that when we get new players and now a manager they get told I assume to live in a part of Nottingham.

If you live in market bosworth for example or anywhere south of the county then yes it is further away. One of the players lives/lived on the park mkt Bosworth - long road opposite the park with some decent houses

Was one of the strikers, wasn't it?

It’s really not that deep. The club will have deals with agents, maybe even sponsors. In our case they own quite a bit of property, perfect for new signings/new managers.

Cooper would have been put in the Trent penthouse if he didn’t already live in south notts. Just like Tete was and Fofana before him (think they’re the 3 who have been in there so far)

That entire complex was built for HNW individuals and it’s no surprise KP fancied a slice of it. As I said they’ve gone on to buy similar properties along the Trent. One of which Fatawu lives in.

At the end of the day it’s a good city, great food scene, close to the training ground from south Notts.

If anything it’s better than players living all over the shop, we were in that position under Pearson and Ranieri for sure.

Under Pearson there were loads of them commuting from the North West every day, people seem to think it's a new thing players living elsewhere
