Increasingly convinced that it’s simply the business culture he and KP come from which says they must have approval on everything. They simply can’t do minority ownership because they would rather cut their nose to spite their face about it.

The respect is line reeks of nonsense, it’s about power and being perceived to be strong. If the structure says as it does we heading the way of Cardiff, Reading, Wednesday (and don’t think Wolves be far behind). There’s a pattern there

This would make sense. East Asian ownership has been crap for Birmingham and West Brom too.

I think you’ve misunderstood what I meant. I’m not doubting why they would be attached it just seems strange that he’s so negligent in the running of the club. You’d think the sentimentally would lead to driving better performance

You have to remember things changed for the worst for the Club after the tragedy of the Crash. Gone was the Man who owned everything and could make things happen by clicking his fingers.

Now the Club is run by a Board of Directors. Top is just the Chairman. Now while that titile carries a lot of weight, He's still controlled by and answerable to the Board.

That's a massive change for the Club, Even more so when 3 of them are women who probably don't understand football.

It's my guess that Top is possibly preparing a pathway towards a future buy out from KP.  Which would be the best outcome going forward.

Top’s been the sole owner of LCFC since 2019 according to companies house before that it was King Power

So true. Absolutely nothing happened after 2019. It was just a black void of despair, hopelessness and despondency.

Top already done that.

And even if he hadn't, he hasn't got any more clue that the 'women who probably don't understand football'.

Listened to when your smiling last night. Dean hammond spoke well but defended the owner/board.

Main reason for me mentioning, there was one long voice note from someone(who's name I can't recall) that was brilliant and well worth a listen just for that. Summed up most of the opinions on here perfectly.

I don’t think he feels able to…. Possibly because of his father’s memory, possibly because of family pressure.

You don’t ignore your favourite toy

A while ago someone suggested a government interest as well, they suggested we could only be sold on to another Thai business person.

If we all chip in maybe we could keep the lights on.

It must of been the prior “emotional attachment blah blah” seemed a little dismissive of the circumstances.

I've never read that, any link to it. ?   My understanding is he only replaced his father as Chairman with the approval of his mother who would have acquired Vichai's shares.

Top would. At least until he sold us. You don't get to just walk away from bills... I've tried.

They just don’t care do they?

It's cowardly rudkin...

Top calls rudkin from the polo buffet tent

Top: Have you told him?

Rudkin: Yes, definitely, honest.

Top: Then why do I keep seeing reports saying he hasn't spoke to anyone?

Rudkin: He must be lying, honest.

Top: ok, sounds legit.

Top hangs up and picks up another crab paste and cucumber sandwich.

Meanwhile back at Seagrave

Tea lady: would you like a cuppa

Rudkin: Ah, yes, erm, could you go and tell Ruud he's sacked, I'd do it but I've hurt my leg.

Tea lady: **** off *****.

It’s all so lazy. I try not to be hysterical but I think of Top doesn’t sell we will be in League 1 in a year or so.

Surely it’s crossed her mind to think

Son can I have a word  ?
I dread to think what your father would do if he knew what an absolute shambles you’re making of this.
