RonnieTodger Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Lacking quality in their half. Crying out for Facundo. 2

honeybradger Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Good performance. We did fall asleep at the end of the half again though, Van Nistelrooy needs to work on that.
Hales Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Mav is low on confidence....he needs an arm round his shoulder from Ruud and a goal Lost his swagger at the moment 2

For some, unless we are defensively tight, but having 15 shots on target ourselves it's 'honking'.... 3

Which Daka can do,. despite his faults Vardy is picking up their DM when they have the ball, stopping them going through middle a lot. I agree we need an outlet but I think that is better served with Daka coming on on 70 mins, either for or with Vardy depending on the score line. I would however get FB on for Mavididi which would offer a ball carrying threat. 1
kingfox Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Toothless in attack, but some of our build up play through midfield has been decent again. Thomas had a decent enough half. 3
Scanchez Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Are we sexy foxes again? A simple yes or no would suffice.

cruzFOX Posted 4 January Posted 4 January We have face reality and that is we are in no shape of form to play champagne football. Ruud has set us up right. Stay compact, resilient and contain Villa. They are frustrated. Without Duran Duran & rogers they don’t have their mavericks to open us up. Bailey & Watkins are still dangerous so team has to stay focused for another half. no more clangers either! I will take a vital point. Vardy needs to stay sharp in case a sitter magically drops for him! 3

Absolutely this. That was, for the majority of that half our most organised away performance this season. Take a lot from it. Now build on it. 4

It's hardly been a paradise for goal poachers. Occasionally, as in the last game, he's been wasteful and deserves criticism. But over the years there have been plenty of games when we've had one of the greatest ever strikers on the pitch, barely touching the ball, and this forum has been awash with people blaming him for it. When that clearly isn't the main issue at play. The issue is he no longer has the physical attributes to put himself about, or to offer a threat in behind us it in the last 25 yards. We aren't good enough to carry him.
Popular Post FoxLee Posted 4 January Popular Post Posted 4 January I understand the frustration at not creating chances, but we clearly have a game plan and are set up accordingly. We're defending well, the distance between the units is good so far and we're not letting Villa dictate. As poor on the eyes it may be in an attacking sense. This is a good away performance so far and a point here would've been welcomed by all of us before Kick Off. Of course, we still another 45 minutes yet and I doubt Villa will be as pedestrian when we resume after the break, so it can change, but I'm encouraged by what I've seen in our ability to nullify them in that first half. 11

shailen Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Soumare, Winks and the whole back line have been very good in the first half. Stopped any real threat from them. Need to be better when we have the ball in attack. 1
oldbluefox Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Feel sorry for Kannous. How many more times does he make the run through only for Mavididi to go back.

Come on Leicester!
trabuch Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Getting the defence sorted is always a good thing. I do take some encouragement from that. 1
Gazzbluefox Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Good effort from the lads. Mavi needs to grow a pair & take hisan on for god sake
frany104 Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Good performance so far. keep it tight for another 15 mins and then unleash Buonanotte.

jonny_wright Posted 4 January Posted 4 January I’d actually say Thomas has been one of our best players so far, at worst looks as good as Kristiansen 1
Lako42 Posted 4 January Posted 4 January Keep it tight for a half and offer nothing going forward. Villa won't be as shit 2nd half 1
