I think we can safely say that this is a dead dream now.

With Brighton, Fulham, Arsenal and Manchester City being their next four, the UCL dream looks set to die on its arse soon as well.

Bournemouth playing well great result today

If it wasn't for Manchester City and Newcastle coming into form, I'd have them as a decent outside bet for UCL. They'll get Europe, though.

Yes

will revert to the level of their stats ….. unfortunately so will we 😄

I mean if we're going to revert to the level of our stats then that would be an improvement.

I thought we had even fewer points on our Xg etc ???

Under Cooper we did, under Ruud we're underperforming them. Overall we should be on about 17 points.

I wouldn’t be so sure yet but I guess them dropping 5 points in their last 3 games has shown how faultless they’ll need to be to finish in the CL spots and you can see them having a bad run that would probably rule them out.

The chances of them winning the league are absolutely dead.

In terms of top four, if Man City and Newcastle are back in form and Bournemouth keep doing bits, their days are numbered. Once they drop out of the UCL places, it'll be permanent.

If they'd lost 1-0 or something similar today, nobody would have blinked an eyelid and would say they are still strong contenders for UCL. The fact they've been utterly destroyed will have really dented their confidence whilst also gaining confidence for Bournemouth who are now only 4 points behind them. Personally I think Liverpool will win the league by about 10 points at least, Arsenal will be 2nd, Man C 3rd, Chelsea 4th, Bournemouth 5th, Newcastle 6th, Forest 7th.

7th for Forest is a great season but anyone who was in any way comparing them to LCFC 15-16 was being a bit silly to be fair.

They were never going to win it anyway.

It will be interesting to see what happens next. Thats a hell of a defeat. To put in context we haven’t had such a heavy defeat this season and we are just awful. Not to say we won’t before the season is done by the way.

That sort of defeat could cause an absolute spiral given they seem to have just been cruising by on confidence and momentum more so than ability.

If they bounce back next week fair play to them. It’ll probably be obviously fairly quickly the direction the rest of the season takes for them.

Think they will get Europa or Conference league. What we would do for that again right now. We are looking set for a midweek tie next season at Fuching Wrexham.

Close thread?

Nope, keep it open for a laugh at their expense.

Europe bound they may be but you never know, they could completely collapse and drop like a stone.

I going to make a prediction Nuno Espírito Santo to be sack around Christmas next year.

Hopefully Cooper will make a glorious return.

Not sure we're going to be in a position to be laughing at anyone.
