If we can recoup what we paid, sell. We won’t, so we should keep and give him a run in the team, I believe confidence will grow and he will be a good player.

However, i would really like to think if he did go it would finally give Nelson the game time he needs, with a run in the team Nelson will be one of the first names on the team sheet.

If you get £20m for the fella or at least what we’ve paid, sell. I like Okoli. But this is playing the market, and we haven’t done it right for years. We have cover for this league in his position (unlike Fatawu or Bilal) more than capable of stepping in and do not need to immediately replace. That gives us time to replace but replace with proper care.

If he wants it (who wouldn’t want Milan) do a deal and shake hands.

If it would be  15m+ offer, even instalments, he would surely be sold, as he is easily replaceable with Ben and/or a Loan.

Plus we have Souttar back soon hopefully.

Milan are a big club so can't argue against him wanting to go

If true, you definitely can't argue with that. We get near £15m we would have done well.

Rudkin time - £6m

He is the one to sell. Likely get the most money for him, despite him being our 3rd or 4th choice now.

Happy with Faes, Vesty, Nelson, Souttar and a loan deal for a CB to cover until Souttar back. Maybe a LCB who can play LB too.

Get Okoli gone and off the wages. He is OK, but still looks clumsy even at this level.

If we can get enough for him to allow us to increase the BEK asking price another 10/15m after his release clause ends I’ll buy his plane ticket to Milan himself (hope he likes Ryanair)

Best route to go, invest the money raised into the midfield. Wouldn’t be shocked if the links to that Tottenham centre back have some substance.

I’m pushing for a move to AC Milan as well. I think I’d love it there.

It’s ranking up, the rumour mill of Okoli leaving again!

https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/ac-milan/transfer-talk/news/ac-milan-eyeing-up-move-for-in-demand-leicester-defender_580084.html

AC Milan have reportedly identified Caleb Okolias a potential arrival during the final stages of the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old arrived at the King Power Stadium from Atalanta BC last summer as the Foxes looked to build a side capable of remaining in the Premier League

Okoli only featured in 19 top-flight matches for the one-time English champions as they suffered an immediate return to the second tier.

The centre-back was linked with a move away from the East Midlands pretty much as soon as he signed, mooted with a switch back to Italy.

So far this season, Okoli has played in three Championship matches for Leicester, including the 1-0 success at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

According to Calciomercato, Leicester could be set to lose one of their key defenders before the end of the summer transfer window.

The report claims that Foxes centre-back Okoli is attracting interest from a particular top-flight club in Italy, namely AC Milan.

It is understood that the Rossoneri are eyeing up a last-ditch attempt to sign Okoli from Leicester before the September 1 deadline.

AC Milan supposedly possess a good working relationship with the entourage of the Italian, making a transfer more probable.

As well as Okoli, it is believed that the Rossoneri are also considering Al Ahli defender Merih Demiral as an option to strengthen the backline.

Demiral an opportunity at low costs, but not the only name that emerged in Milan's perspective during the summer. Caleb Okoli's candidacy also resists.

The Italian born in 2001 was bought last summer by Leicester, who took him from Atalanta for 14 million euros plus 2.5 million in bonuses after the season played on loan to Frosinone. The blue center has a contract until 2029 with the Foxes, with whom he has collected 24 appearances scoring a goal in the first season in England.

Leicester was relegated to the Championship at the end of last season and could be open to transfer, although the conditions should be evaluated. To favor the negotiation, however, could be the relations with the agency that takes care of his interests, the same as the midfielder Samuele Ricci who arrived at Milan from Turin in this summer market.

Move from Atalanta to Leicester. Fail to make the grade in the Prem as the club are relegated. Start the Championship in the side for the first three games - one good performance, one OK, one poor. Sign for AC Milan.

What is going on with football these days??

The expectations of a defender are a bit different over here I guess.  They ignore this bit and buy the player they admired at Atalanta.

It’s a bit like when Kristiansen played in Serie A.

Whilst they do have good players in the league, the overall standard isn’t as high as it was in relative terms to the Premier League, as say it was in the early 00s.

That fraction of seconds extra on the ball etc, as the game is slower, will help technically inferior players.

To use he’s okay, does a steady job, for them he speaks Italian, knows the country, maybe hits the ground running, so is a fairly safe purchase.
