It’s just awful at the back, how have we found ourselves with this backline in the Premier League.

We are up against it, because we know we’ll concede twice at least every week.

Add to that some decent build up play, but absolutely toothless in the final third. 
I just don’t know where we go from here and how things get any better without some serious investment - but also someone with a brain and knowledge of the game getting involved in that investment.

This club has played such a huge part in my life and I’d like to think I’ve always stuck with them but thanks to Top and Rudkin, my love of this club has been sucked away.

Feel quite liberated tonight. Absolutely zero worries about whether we'll get relegated as for me it's confirmed.

 

Until Rudkin and Top go things won't get any better. No idea if Ruud is good enough, don't really care. The recruitment has been shambolic for ages now and the squad is testament to that. Comically bad defence, nothing midfielders and relying constantly on a 38 year old striker.

There have been times this season where I think both managers’ selection and tactics have handicapped us. But tonight I can’t even say that.

Much like against Man City; the line-up was right, the tactics were right, the effort was there, there was enough space to play, but the players were wasteful. There’s just not the consistent quality, even from our better players.

 

So our best players didn’t perform today, but about 7 of them are not good enough for this level even at their best. We’ve got no chance.
 

Some people should be embarrassed looking at what they’ve allowed this club to sign, you can tell just watching them for 5 minutes that they are out of their depth.

 

We will deservedly go down.

People saying we had no fight or weren't trying, I disagree.

 

We were the better side (but no finish) first half, and overall we had a fair few shots while they really didn't but were clinical.

 

If we'd scored at 0-1 I'd have fancied us to get more. 

 

We are shit out of luck, we can't keep a clean sheet, but, as disappointing as the results have been, I think the football we are playing, with not brilliant resources, is better than under Cooper and continues to improve.
