Ruud was asked about it in his pre-match press conference

How about we stay behind you Ruud but after we are 3-0 down after 12 minutes due to Faes and Vestegaard falling over themselves, can we switch back to "sack the board" "Rudkin Out" etc.

If the fans see reason on the pitch, regardless of the protest, the fans will be behind the team - its our club Ruud, which is why we are protesting. His job (and the players) is to give us reason to back.

Exactly. I think he’s essentially endorsing the protest against the regime. It’s certainly not favouring the regime or neutral, and so by default I think is supportive

Exactly. So for those crying that it is having a negative effect on the team, read that as RVN clearly knows what it is about and will not doubt discuss it with the squad.

Club are doing a "signing session" over half term that's a photo only event and fans aren't allowed to ask for signatures and once again is ballot only.

But at least if you enter as a group, if one gets picked, all are allowed entry

That’s as close to an endorsement you can get from a manager on something like this. Speaks volumes.

I thought this too. For a manager who's perfected not disclosing much in interviews, this was very telling.

I’ve been doing this indirectly for a couple years now. Been involved in non-league since post-Covid, admittedly bought tickets last year for the Sheffield Wednesday game because I had a couple Spanish friends who were living here for a summer and wanted to see a Leicester game, otherwise if I go I borrow a mate’s ST and pay them for the match value. I don’t plan on buying a ticket again until there’s clear signs of progress. I doubt I’ll miss much in the meantime.

The final form of the ‘football is akshually a business’ argument: frothing-at-the-mouth, contradictory nonsense. It’s a business: yet apparently it needs no ‘customers’ to survive despite emails begging supporters to turn up to games and extremely vague ‘pro-supporter’ overtures when we’re relegated or threatened by the prospect. It’s a business, but any ‘customer’ who criticises the ‘service’ (in this case the objectively awful running of the club on and off the pitch) is ungrateful and has no right to ‘moan’. An extremely gentle organised protest march, which is featuring several national news interviews and in which the organisers have warned off any abusive behaviour, is ‘yob/mob rule’.

Poor reflection of this club’s support base (and probably the country as a whole) that we’ve become so weak-minded and submissive and there’s those willing to defend corporate interests and foreign national billionaires erode our local institutions and water down cultural interests. Especially when it’s their employees that created the success.

Yet if there is any 'customer' who has an increased right to moan of voice dissent, it's the supporter of a sports team. They are the very heart and soul of that team (business), no matter how much it's commercialised.

Might be crap a lot of the time, but Leicester City is a part of everyone on this forum's identity, in a way that our consumption of other goods/services is not.

As an aside,Just noticed that Arsenal is now on general sale....something that would not have happened in previous PL seasons.Seems like people are voting with their feet as well! Our old ST's together in the Kop are on there for sale if you fancy forking out £110!
