Given Enzo has spent over £400m since arriving at Chelsea and still wants more money to spend, and the fact he took over a massively bloated team anyway, we should probably be looking to take some of their academy/reserve players on loan with options to buy, because they won't be getting any game time under Maresca.

I'd be interested in George and Guiu, but I think they might be out of our reach, and I'd only really want them if there's opportunity to make them permanent.  Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I know you are being a bit tongue in cheek here but actually there isn't much point in signing/releasing anyone until this is sorted. Though selling players who don't want to be here whoever the manager turns out to be should be the number one priority.

The longer we continue without a manager the less chance we have of sorting out the squad in time for the start of the season. And that is without any potential transfer embargo we may or may not get.

Recent reports say they need to make £60 Million to satisfy uefa psr.. im assuming its profit so they will almost certainly try selling  some homegrown players asap.

How many signings/departures do you think toenails will get done after he finally gets us a manager? The guy can literally do 1 thing at a time. 

 

I'd say 2 departures (1 loan and 1 perm) and 1 signing (a free).

I think we will lose Mads, Bilal, Coady and Ndidi on permanent deals, possibly Faes too. VK, Soumare and Winks on loan. 

 

I think we will sign 3 players. A back-up GK, a CM and a striker. Two on loan, one on a free transfer.

We can, just not to a PL (maybe even UK based) team I believe. If we were to do that (unlikely) then we'd have to extend his contract. Like Palace did with Édouard when they sent him to us.

Like the above poster said, I'm not sure if we can do it to a UK club but we done it with Perez to Betis, so we CAN do it.

Ah fair enough. Would make more sense to try and sell him, even if it's just for a small fee. Gets him off the wage bill and a few mill is better than zero

Can anyone still visualise us offloading around a dozen players as was predicted back in May.

I can't see anybody leaving the way things are going and that would mean no one is coming in either.

So many rumours have been circulated and so many "drain the swamp" type comments thrown around. Other clubs are getting on with their transfer business with both ins and outs.

Nope because these players are not very good and sit on inflated wages

Whilst unlikely, if we did keep all the players we've got now, we'd get promoted again I reckon.

Fatawu, Mavadidi, BEK would terrorise most defences.
