A NEW OWNER PLEASE

If nobody can see at this point that the club desperately needs a new direction going forward and if you can’t see that the culture and club is rotten from its foundations then I really don’t know what you are seeing.

Any manager

Any players

Any system

It wont make any difference whatsoever if the same attitudes continue on and off the pitch- look at Man Utd

Personally I would like the club to lose every game

lose every decent player

spend a fortune on rubbish

Give out ridiculous wages

Get relegated to league 1

Not because I want to harm the club I love but I want this idiot out of our club ASAP and that is our only hope.

Paying out for a ticket is supporting Dumb & Dumber IMO

We have a squad more than capable of achieving promotion, as long as the manager can keep them confident and the morale high.

however we definite need a few players through the door of a high quality to boost us or I fear some of the players not favoured by the fans will bring us down if they continue to sulk

Even without the possibility of El Khannouss going, we need a physical box to box midfielder. If he goes we need one and a creator.

We also need another striker. Bare minimum two signings.

If we can get rid of Justin/Coulibaly, Kristiansen, Faes/Okoli/Vestergaard and Soumare then we might another versatile defender.

Holding midfielder

Bilal replacement

Centre Forward

i am flabbergasted that Lennon Miller and Richard Kone have gone for less than £8m between them. Every summer I’m looking at obvious transfers we are nowhere near. This will now be known as the “Nanasi scenario”

I don't want to be all doom-and-gloom, but does anyone actually have any confidence we'll sign anyone now? I have a feeling either we won't, or it will be too little, too late for what we need.

Striker, at least one starting CM, and a LB are desperately needed.

I certainly don't have any confidence we'll buy anyone even if we do make more sales. A couple of loans and/or frees late on in the window maybe but I don't think we'll come close to doing what we need to

What is the point of spending money before making big changes to the recruitment and contracts teams.  It would just be more money down the pan. The present squad isn't good enough but I don't trust the present incumbents to make a difference through bringing new players in

Nope, it feels exactly like 22/23 to me

We have signed our old keeper (Smithies), now we just need to wait for the sale of a couple of key players that we don’t adequately replace (Kasper and Fofana)

Our aim is to stay up this season (incoming points deduction won’t help) with what we have, last night we had Faes, Soumare, Winks & Daka in the proverbial shop window at the cost of going out with a disjointed poor performance, it’s clear to see what we need but only a big influx of money can help us this season… :sweating:

No I don’t have any confidence in this club whatsoever

After the Sheff Wed and Huddersfield game I’m starting to think we desperately need 4 signings…

A left back, someone in the pivot who shows for the ball, a box to box midfielder who either excels in the press or is creative and a striker.

At this point I couldn’t care if it’s loans or permanents. Go get someone like Harry Amass and Toby Collyer on loan for example.

Strongly disagree with this.

We have about half a team capable of achieving promotion: Bilal, Fatawu, Mavididi, Winks, Jakub...maybe Faes, Vestergaard and Monga.

Our midfield is lightweight and has zero creativity. We don't have a striker who can score 15 goals a season. We have one excellent full back but he's regularly injured. The rest aren't very good.

Now you've said that, the feeling is uncanny. How depressing that it suggests yet more examples of how we keep cycling through our same mistakes.

At a minimum, if we could just sign one starting CM, I would have a smidge of optimism as we progress through the season. That the club's actions have reduced me to that as being something I will accept as a minimum viable approach is so disappointing.

We need a strong captain who will not tolerate half-hearted performances on the pitch.  We have some players with talent and some with a decent attitude but also some who can't be bothered.  This is a poison within the team and wider squad that has to be rooted out before we can move forward.

The midfield needed revamping under Cooper, all we got is Skipp for £25 million. The midfield needed revamping under RVN, but we hardly had any funds in January. Now the midfield needs revamping under Marti, but we’re currently left with less options.

To make Marti ball work, you have to have midfielders that can press, cover ground and make recoveries. Just think Bournemouth for example with the type of options they have in that position.

Maybe we can get away with Winks as the 6 in the Championship, but my god, please get an energetic midfielder to go alongside him, then get Soumare out the door and replace him with someone who actually wants to run, otherwise our chances of promotion will diminish.

Can't see us buying anyone in any key positions it'll be outgoings only & a few loans once the prem has started.

Desperate for a prime Ndidi clone to control the midfield & a striker.

Skipp is too lightweight and Soumare isn't consistent enough either. Shambles really.
