Players not coming over to the fans

Thomas Frank makes his players walk the pitch to applaud fans W, L or draw as he knows they’ve been to work all week to pay their wages.

 

This lot can’t wait for May to get on holiday and then leave us in the shit they engineered. It’s horrible.

It really irritated me that after that only a handful of players came over to show their appreciation to the fans at FT. Even the manager was nowhere to be seen.

Yep. Watch his interview after the Fulham game (I think) and he generally looks so gutted/pissed off. Hardly any of the others ever look like they give a crap

Half the issue really. He’s likeable and I think that’s why so many managers play him. 
 

He’s not improved one bit from the day we signed him. He had a purple patch when the whole team was doing well but other than that he’s just never really been above average.

Stems from the zero accountability culture. Why put yourself in the firing line when there’s zero pressure to get results? You get only get grief for being o one fo the few man enough to do it.

 

The players will know they’re on too much money, they’ll know Rudkin is a soft touch and their agents pull the wool over his eyes.

Just doing the easy thing is what’s incentivised.

 

Top is just too pally with the squad and too close with Rudkin. If the owner isn’t going to bollock staff or players then the director of football should.

 

Instead we have two meek characters in the most senior footballing positions. Everybody can get away with murder at Disneyland FC. Get promoted after a shambolic relegation and it’s a trip to Monaco - the players must love Top because they take him for a ride with no consequences - even when they f uck up again and again.

it's why Aiyawatt needs to go as well, not just his butler in the DoF role. He's too concerned with being mates with the players to do what needs to be done. Like, you go to a work do, you might see the CEO, maybe even have a drink with them, but it's a professional relationship, outside of that work related setting you're not friends, and thats how it should be.
