What a sad state this club has become! Not even linked to a single player my god! I thought things were bad under Rodgers but this is levels above! Tbh I think I’d take a Ryan Bennett now just so I don’t have to see faes in a Leicester shirt ever again!

I still think there will be an  underwhelming addition of someone cheap and unwanted by everyone else. He will probably be old enough to remember watching Live and kicking on Saturday mornings and won't improve our team. No real different to signing no-one.

Now that Hermansen is fit would it make sense to find a loan for Iverson (I would say Ward but there’s no chance anyone would take him)? Just free up a bit of wage and help him in his profile.


Thomas and Alves to go out on loan, if we can get a winger in I’d let MacAteer go out too. 

 

I believe you can sign free agents after the deadline and that some countries clubs can still sign from us for a day or two after tomorrow….sorry to prolong the agony.

 

We need some new, different faces, guys who haven’t recently lost 8 in 9 games and we need to stop being lemmings jumping off the cliff and do something different. 

 

The Eduard situation is a huge frustration, using up a crucial loan place, we could not afford any wastage this season, it’s really restricting our options.

The only way we could give ourselves even a slim chance of survival would be to sign a high quality centre-half, most likely on loan. If we were going to make such a signing, it would have happened by now. As such, we’re going to face the rest of the season with Faes and Vestergaard at the back - and a CB partnership of that quality gets you relegated. It’s as depressingly simple as that.

In - lots of piss and hot air throughout the day of player x being linked and trying to do a deal for player Y but overall think it will be a disappointing day with no additions 

 

Outs - few fringe/academy players out on loan and Ruud resigning by back end of the day / tomorrow morning.

We had 1 space free anyway, Hamza has gone aswell, and we registered Danny Ward. 
 

So add in the new signing and we have 2 spaces left still.
