It doesn't and won't ever work, neither are especially good at looking after the ball, neither can play out wide they are number 9's that need a Nugent/Okazaki type in a withdrawn role or an attacking midfielder like Maddison behind them to look to play them in

I would have thought thats EL Khannous job today 3-5-2 with him furthest forward centrally or maybe even 4-3-3 in possession with maybe Justin and El Khannous pushing forward in transition, it's hard to know what it is looking at the names 3-5-2 looks most likely.

On the "plus" side, at least we have binned the slow wingers and have some legs going forward.

Five defenders and it still highlights how hideous it is in that area.

Shame those legs are scared to look forwards. It will be like a Chuckle Brothers convention with 5atb.

Third most expensive midfielder we’ve ever signed.

To think we’d have been better off keeping KDH instead makes me want to torch the Vic.

I don't mind if Daka plays as long as we utilise him properly and he puts the effort in. He's shite in front of goal but he can press. He can run and pull defenders too. This is where we do no other the top balls or anything in behind though.

We so struggle to get up the pitch as we have no pace so hopefully him playing solves this a bit

Needs to manage his best Shinji Okazaki impression, then? :D

As a Kid I used to look forward to Leicester games, the thrill of the atmosphere, watching my heroes play the game I love, giving it their all - lots of up and downs, but always enjoyed the anticipation and hope in the build up to the game

Now I look forward to Leicester games as a masochist

Can’t believe we’re only 10/1 to win this. Shocking odds, I’d expect at least 15’s and even then I wouldn’t be daft enough to lump on.

Very confused with the positive comments on here about today’s set up. We have ONE creative player in the first 11.Two out and out finishers who don’t create and who need service and then 7 other outfield players who are in there as stoppers. Chelsea simply need to take ELK out of the game and then we’ll have to resort to trying to sling it long over the top in the brief moments we have possession.

i imagine that is exactly the plan

Not a problem with a back 5 but ... Calamity James and Scary Mary on the right?

Kristiansen and Thomas on the left?

Coulibally and Okoli?

Coulibally is a proven attacking right wing back whereas JJ is neither arsehole or watercress (he's proven to be crap at both).

Okoli can play left sided centre half whereas Thomas is a midget and Kristiansen was written off by Maresca as third choice left centre half at best last year which is why he left!

Coulibally looks like a competition winner who can't believe his good fortune most of the time and wouldn't be out of place two divisions below where we are now.

A no-midfield strategy?

Do everything you can to nick the ball while Sanchez is rolling it around with his CBs, and if that doesn't work, it'll be in our box in no time, so have seven primarily defensive players there getting in each other's way.

Fits right in here then!

It really doesn't matter who he picks none of them are good enough and all have their detractors on here so whatever he tries to do will be wrong.

We've been completely stuffed this season by yet another round of terrible recruitment both in managers and players.

Can we even score a goal?
