Fair play to Mcateer today and Okoli, neither have been playing but slotted right in. Kasey ran and ran and worked hard

Yep. Two regulars for next season.

Nice to take this against Brighton, just a little reminder to them that they will likely NEVER achieve what we have in the modern era.

What do they want to achieve? I think they are not to many bad signings off doing a Leicester, these teams become complacent, stale after a while, hot to keep evolving.

We saw today what a bit of pace in the team can do.

Yes he can be hit and miss, but Mavididi needs to start every week, it’s been criminal to start him on the bench for so long.

Every club in the world, I think, has the “it’s always us” mentality, when it comes to bad refereeing, ex-players scoring against them (especially those who left acrimoniously), or being Charity FC.

But I’m a Brighton fan, and have very real concerns. Despite you being a really desperately poor side under RVN, factually speaking our record for many, many years is absolutely dire at home against teams towards the bottom of the table.

This season at home we’ve been held by Ipswich, Southampton(!), Wolves, drew to you away (and nearly lost the thing), and lost to Everton at home. Meanwhile we beat Fulham, Manchester City, Spurs, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bournemouth.

I don’t think this will be as one-sided as many fans of both clubs are predicting. We just don’t turn up for these types of matches, and it’s been going on since Potter was here.

Just leaving the Amex, this is what I posted in your pre-match thread.

That was standard for us at home against the lower placed sides guys. The annoying thing is we’ll lose at home to West Ham and beat Liverpool.

Our home record against the bottom six in the last seven seasons is the worst in PL history, so this was very predictable for me.

Well played, based solely on the second half you could’ve easily won that, we went to pieces.

Anyone else notice our best spell of the game - and indeed in any game for several months - came AFTER the "captain" had been taken off?

Perhaps the post-Vardy era is closer than we think.. 🤞🤞🤞

I have my Leicester back. Where has this been over the last 8 weeks. I know it is only one game. I only saw second half but they were actually trying, competing, scrapping. That is the minimum they should be showing. It is not too much to ask is it? I actually enjoyed the second half.

Imagine if the premier does become a closed shop due to promoted teams not being good enough. Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham, still in the top league!!!!!!!

Geordies singing say hello to Sunderland, we should have sang say hello to three quarters of the league if size of club matters.

Evans looks stronger than Thomas and McAteer and they’re what 6 and 7 years older than him?!

Every comment like this makes me look what vintage booze I have in the cupboard

Seems like most of the games we've played away at Brighton have ended 2-2, similarly remember it happening with Stoke alot too.

Same situation at the start of the game, could've easily had 3+ goals put past us. Tad unlucky with the first peno as it was hammered straight at Coady, not much time to think or articulate. Mavididi looked aggressive and confident, great to see. El Khannouss brilliant in possession, great pressing aswell, dead ball delivery mostly awful, saying that he's assisted both goals today with Okoli's being a superb ball in - wouldn't be surprised to see him go somewhere like Brighton.

Yeah, great result, meh feeling as it's in vain and I'm doubtful these sorts of performances will be the mean again for a while, but we didn't lose and we scored a couple fakkin goals, get in!

João Pedro is a diving dirty shitbag by the way, still can't believe the FA didn't severely punish him for swinging that elbow on a Brentford player a couple of months ago, most his goals come from dodgy pens, horrible.
