Will be very strange seeing him playing for another team. I'd have liked him to have a year at Sheff Wed or go abroad, don't want him playing for any other English/Welsh teams.

It just won’t look right Vardy playing in English football. He has to leave his Leicester legacy behind untarnished.

Why doesn’t he just go to the MLS? He will bag loads of goals, have fun, be worshipped, live the good life in the sun and earn loads of cash. He can talk to golden balls for advice. Just for a few seasons than Saudi for a quick pay then retire.

The only way I am accepting that he's left is if it's on his own terms for MLS/Saudi and/or he wanted 100k+ a week to stay.

If he goes another Premier League team he isn't going to be getting the wage he was getting here. To have his last season be West Ham or Wolves really would sum up Rudkin and Top's complete and utter failure.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'd like to see him stay in the PL if he can.

Only needs 8 goals to move ahead of Michael Owen and get to 11th on the All-time PL scorers list.

Obviously he's already one of the best ever PL strikers, but it would be nice for him to get even higher on the list!

How many years do you think he has left, he's 38! I highly doubt he'd up his family to America for a year and then move them again to Saudi. It would be one or the other, not both

I'm not sure I'm too arsed about that kind of thing. What does it prove?

Owen went to Real Madrid for a couple of years.

Obviously matter to Vardy but I don't think anything he does now will make me think any more or less of him.

Unless he scores the winner at the City Ground in which case I'll build the statue myself.

I love the bloke and he’ll be welcome back to the KP regardless in the future as a hero and legend. But the more I think about it I can’t help but feel him going to another PL / EFL team now would put a bit of a blemish on his legacy here. Which would be a shame after everything.

Particularly as I’m sure he’ll be receiving significant offers from abroad. Go and enjoy living in the USA for a year or two or go and earn a kings ransom in Saudi Arabia.

Would be the crowning glory of Aiyawatt's regime if Vardy ends up retiring at some mid-table no-marks.

Doubt it after seeing him on Saturday.

So you’d think less of him for playing for any other English league club but not if he sportswashed for Saudi Arabia? 😆

Not really it was his decision to leave and as hard as it is to take it’s probably the right decision. He’s taking up 3/4 players wages and it’s time for the whole club to rebuild with a lot of fresh faces.

In my head I knew this was coming but my heart quite simply isn’t ready

I feel you brother, it’s not a good place to be unfortunately. At least we have got to experience some of the best moments and genius of our star man over the years.
