It’s already too little too late, we needed to be at this stage months ago. It’s not going to look anything like a rebuild. We will remain stagnant until big changes at the top.

It is quite hard to see anything positive happening with incoming players. I know we are quite a secretive club when it comes to this sort of thing but the, almost complete, lack of any substantive rumours is a concern.

There also hasn't been enough effort to clear out players either. Absolutely no rumours regarding Soumare for eg.

I think it possible we still need to clear out 3 or 4 more players before the funds will be there to bring anyone in.  The only chance of anyone incoming is the possibility of some final day loans from players not in premier League squads.

I'd expect 2 or 3 of our younger players to go out on loan though we don't seem to be very good at arranging that either.

Taking all the frustration out of the question here, be interesting to know how many players we are looking at bringing in?

in a way, I’m glad that that MC got to saw that yesterday, as it probably gives a good indication of what we need.

What would people be happy with? Personally, a CB, CM, ST would be great, but good to hear other opinions!

Sorry but you really cannot say this. It is pure fabrication as no one has any idea how hard the club has actually tried to move these players on.

At one point you said we're a secretive club. The next you're using "lack of rumours" to make a judgement on us apparently not trying very hard. You can't have it both ways.

Transfer rumours are entirely made up by journalists and agents. I really, really wouldn't pay them any attention at all.

There is no intention of attempting a return to PL. Club is being asset stripped to make the balance sheet look good and repay Top as much as possible before 'Brand LCFC' is put on the market to save King Power. Hence the silence from the club. Players know it hence want away.

We need to protest these charlatans out.

This is what I think is happening, too.

This is the nightmare scenario. Sell anything of value for the Top to use to save face.

The football side of the club falls way down on the order of priority.

This could be why we still don't have a sponsor they might want certain assurances of brand and reputation which we can't offer?

I’m not at all pro-KP, but in practice how does this actually work?

we sell BEK tomorrow for £30m - then what? How does that money end up in Top’s pocket?

It's also certainly possible that the funds resulting from our player sales are needed back in Thailand to provide financial support for King Power

Top via KP (or maybe directly) will have loaned the club money previously for players, development, whatever. The money from the sale would then repay that loan and end up back in Thailand. KP did forgive an amount of debt held by the club at one point though, I've not gone to look at the accounts for full details.

Good luck to them getting top dollar for a league 1 club if that’s what these geniuses have come up with

Prediction - we sell BEK and Fatawu and sign no one.

Might as well get Glover and any of the recruitment apparatchiks to clear their desks then . No point paying them to do f*** all

I think it’s clear that the impending points deduction is going to be significant and the club are hoping to ride out this season on the cheap finish mid table and try and go again next season if and when the finances look a little better - in the meantime they are at the pawnbrokers cashing in every ounce of gold we’ve got pugged away.

The club most definitely know what’s coming down the road from the EFL….and are in full on brace brace brace mode.

we’ll probably spend £3m before the end of the window once BEK and Fats have departed for the premiership league.

Can you see this squad being galvanised in the face of adversity when we go to -8 points or something?

Most of them don’t want to be here and think it’s a cake walk back to the promised land, just ask Blackburn Rovers or Middlesbrough fan as to how they have done since being a top tier team/club.

The silence from the club is absolutely disgusting - these in charge are ostrich’s - Fact.

I desperately feel for the people who shelled out for season tickets in the hope of something better coming around the corner….
