Feels like some of the fan base on here would love it to be Wilder or Dyche so it can just fuel a good moan!

To be honest, I don't want either but I'm fast approaching the point of not giving a toss so we can crack on and actually give ourselves a chance.

Yeah I get that.

Think it would force the issue in terms of the fanbase and the ownership a bit more

That’s the only incredibly slim silver lining

We really, really don't.

It is reminiscent of every decision this club has made since Covid. Every time you think they can't possibly wait any longer, they magic an extra few weeks out of nowhere.

No one should be surprised if we enter August without a manager.

Think that's a bit dramatic even for LCFC standards, that's over 3 weeks away.

It won't. The sections of the fanbase that are already raging with how the club is run have made their feelings known. The rest of them won't change their minds even if we put Ronald Mcdonald in charge. They just don't care enough, and just turn up to watch the match regardless of who the manager is, who the players are, what league we are in, how the club is being run etc. Some kind of blind loyalty to LCFC as they can't see that LCFC isn't LCFC anymore and hasn't been for years. Sad really.

Certainly true of a great number of people who sit near me in the East Stand

We were relegated 11 weeks ago. They conducted interviews on Friday.

Or he's getting the hurry up.

We've seen this all before. We will likely find out Rohl was never in contention.

We are going to be stuck with managers that wouldn't be able to get jobs anywhere else.

Appalling, just so incredibly inept.

If Rohl wasn't in contention, there is absolutely no reason why one of the other candidates wouldn't have been appointed by now. Rohl, for me, is the preferred choice, has to be, but how long they are prepared to pursue him is debateable.

It legitimately sounds as if they had the summer off. I would love to know from someone working at Seagrave whether or not they were there in May or June.

Another day on Foxestalk of imagined scenarios, simplistic theories and hitting out at anything involving King Power.

It's a good laugh speculating and taking comfort from the blame game. The board might be working their socks off to resolve this, equally might be thrashing around in the dark. However, the bottom line is that no one outside of a very small group really know what is going on.

Thay said, I'm also going to be mightily angry If they are even considering Wilder. But that's me speculating when I have no evidence and reason to suspect anything that is evolving from the managerial appointment process. Stay calm.

We don't know what's happening now, but we have 6 years of past data, I'd say the smart money would be leaning on them not performing to elite levels lol
