Genuinely don't think he will be. The anger from the fans has not been hidden, and has not been quiet. Enough media outlets have reported it, so for anyone in and around English football it will not be a shock

Last summer it seemed nailed on that Potter was in. Then within a few hours Cooper got it.
There’s still time for this not to happen.

Team today looks like it was picked by Dyche, add in long throws and defenders on the wing 😢

Trouble is no guarantee that if this doesn’t happen it will be a better appointment

Yep. The club is so secretive that I don't think you can guarantee anything until you see the new manager pictured at Seagrave holding a shirt.

If he believes the same lies more fool him

Top has seen this and gooned it

Southampton World | Pep Guardiola might've taken Russell Martin a bit too seriously... For the first time ever in his career, Pep has now lost FIVE consecutive... | Instagram

What's crazy is that Pep went on the worst losing streak of his career after that statement, they never fully recovered from that.

Nah because that change was bad for the club, we won’t do anything positive last second, never do

Listening to him on Lineker's podcast, he absolutely does not show any signs of willingness to adapt. It will be similar to Maresca and I agree that it will likely be successful in the Championship, but longer-term, it is pushing us down a route that will not keep us a Premier League club, unless rules are changed and we could invest heavily in the playing squad.

I think he may be shocked how much negativity the fans will have towards him and the club too. So, he better start off very well as people want blood already.

He probably won’t have to adapt in the Championship, but if the best outcome happens and he gets us promoted, he will have to adapt in some ways or I can see him getting found out again.

It’s just a short term vision because he plays a style that works in the Championship, plus he has a promotion on his CV.

The board have completely disregarded how many of our fans feel about that style, but they probably couldn’t give a shit, a possession style got us promoted previously, just let’s do the same thing again.

But as you say, if he goes on any dodgy runs of form, fans will turn on him pretty quickly.

Or maybe he takes us on a 22 game unbeaten streak like he did at Southampton, with Hamza Choudhury producing some inverted RB masterclasses 💪

It’s not difficult to just appoint someone who the fans could have a shred of hope in to claw back a bit of goodwill but they couldn’t have gone further the other way without reappointing Cooper.

Only we could appoint the only manager in the league worse than the 2 c**ts we have already had managing us

They never fail to surprise, fkn idiots.

Just take a gamble on Rohl, least he may have a style that will keep us up in the Prem if we got there

A German culture would be better than a boring possession based
