Can’t argue with his MotM given he got two goals. Personally I’d have gone for Madeuke who was outstanding on that right wing.

This is an embarrassing refereeing performance, giving anything he can Liverpool’s way. Booking the Liverpool player for the blatant dive seems to have given him the justification to wear green.

Football, football players and officials was/were so much better back in 90/00s. It’s so sterile now, no personalities, anything & everything is a foul (especially to some teams) no wonder people are losing interest.

Watching the Man U v Arsenal or Liverpool games from then would see refs having cardiac’s now & the football was so much better I’d happily watch Bolton v West Ham from that period for instance yet now who’s looking forward to watching Burnley v West Ham outside their fanbase?

Doesn't reflect well on us but glad that the promoted trio are giving it a go - burying the myth that it's an impossible task (which was just nonsense to cover up for poor performance).

 

This must be one of the lowest scoring PL weekends I remember. 15 goals in 9 games so far.
