Bollocks that.

Rice fouls a West Ham player at the same time? Why is that not given?

It’s not impacting him directly playing the ball. I don’t want Arsenal to win the league as much as the next person but Raya has his shirt pulled and his arm held.

Pretty sure Odegaard was bear hugging someone too

The amount of holding between different players that was going on and that gets ruled out is ridiculous

Yeah that angle from the back where Pablo is literally gripping Raya's arm was a clincher

Looked the right decision to me and pretty clearly as well. If it weren't for the fact that it helped Arsenal and Spurs I don't think there would be too many arguments.

I don’t mind the foul decision, I can understand it, but there are fouls on at least three players West Ham players - so they’re picking only one foul because it’s the goalie (who has been incredibly weak).  I think it’s either a goal or a penalty.

What impedes him more? The foul or Hermansen blocking his vision?

Having his shirt pulled so he couldn't lift him properly I reckon

But VAR didn’t see that or show the referee that, they shown him flapping at the ball trying to catch it when every other time he has attempted to punch it away

Should be that much scrutiny of Arsenal players every time they score a corner, half of them would get disallowed

On a similar note, it really annoys me that Neville, Alan Smith and sky in general really focus in on contentious situations where a "big 6" have come off worse. Whereas is the role is reversed, it feels like they'll just blow over the incident and ignore it if they can get away with it.

Never a foul. Rice is holding the West Ham player too behind the keeper :dunno:

The foul on Raya happened before that.

Premier League decided where the title was going in that decision, you could play the footage 100 times and still wouldn't see a foul. However VAR claim there "was a foul on the keeper".

It is a foul, but when you see the way that arsenal has pushed the limit of what can be done to opposing players in the box this season, it's really shit for them to be given the benefit of the doubt in the opposite direction too.

Not clear and obvious therefore no need to rule it out. Not a fault of the technology , the officials bottled it. If the same thing happened in Brighton v Villa in matchday 17 they carry on and the goal stands

I don't like it anymore than you, but it's a foul on Raya first if you watch the VAR footage.

You can’t pull the keeper’s arm and expect to get away with it. If it was at the other end, I wouldn’t expect it to be given either.

The clear and obvious rule is bullshit they just use it to there advantage

If that was at the other end and it was 0-0 or 1-0 West Ham they give it. 100% it wouldn't have even been looked at.

Your players grab people excessively from set pieces all of the time and nothings ever given. Gabriel and Saliba are notorious for it
