He can’t manage with 10 men can he? When Fatawu got sent off at Cov, he completely lost it. I think we finished the game with McAteer up front and no wingers on the pitch.

Going down to 10 means it's very difficult to win a game but I don't think it really affects your odds of losing.

Chelsea shouldn't be losing 3-1 at home to Brighton just because they went down to 10 for the last half an hour.

Maresca will be an elite manager but he does need to stamp this out. The top coaches don't lose that game.

I would say though, this is the result of persistently buying U21 players. Their squad on Saturday was;

Sanchez - 27

James - 25

Chalobah - 26

Hato - 19

Cucurella - 27

Santos - 21

Caicedo - 23

Fernandez - 24

Estevao - 18

Pedro - 24

Neto - 25

Acheampong - 19

Gittens - 21

Garnacho - 21

George - 19

Guiu - 19

Gusto - 22

Jorgensen - 23

Lavia - 21

Badiashile - 24

That team clearly needs a few experienced leaders to see them through games like that.

Their defending was awful for the goals, pretty sure Brighton had free men time and time again. That's on top of losing the ball out from the back for the third.

I looked on their forum and it seems they have problems defending set pieces. More and more of their fans seem to want him out now.

I'm not normally that bothered about how other teams do. I always support the underdog in any cup run. I've a handful of clubs I like because of the way they're run and/or because family support them and they're happy if they do well, and I like to see them happy. Notts don't fall into any of those categories. But ever since someone on here pointed out that if West Ham under Nuno win tonight, it puts Forest in the relegation zone, the irony would be so funny that I've not been able to get "I'm forever blowing bubbles" out of my head all evening. And I've got Grealish in my FPL team.  But I may well do myself an injury laughing if the Hammers win tonight.

Never a good sign can't see him being there next year

The lad is too intelligent, family oriented and laid back for the sport. He can invest the money he made so far to do some kind of business (academy maybe?) because I can't see him progressing more as a footballer. Nothing wrong with his mentality though and I think I've said that before.

Oops sorry, I thought you were talking about Madisson. 😂😂

Fascinating watching. Everton very much doing the basics and letting their flair players do what they want in the tip 3rd.

Then West Ham look so rigid and formulaic in their play and just achieving nothing for overthinking everything.

Nuno subs off West Ham's best player and biggest threat in the match because he reached his contractual rotation minutes.

Alternatively, Nuno brings off a player who's not long returned from a serious hamstring injury and hasn't played 90 minutes since January

A good start for Nuno.

Key will be to start winning at home and appease the fan base.

Yeah I think they will probably be decent if functional. Be interesting to see if we get another spin of the now-traditional West Ham cycle whereby they make an appointment to steady the ship, bin them for someone more glamorous and then in turn bin them for someone to steady the ship again. Diouf looks very impressive at left back and I wonder if they'll be reuniting Nuno with Chris Wood in January to attack his crosses.
