“You bottleless git Trump, I caaant speyk”.

But also fair play to Pakistan, he always loved Imran Khan (justice for Khan pls) and now Sharif. Bizarre but good for them, they’ve saved the world from economic meltdown.

Oh, but terror state Israel don’t want to stop bombing Lebanon…

Just for balance mickey, Hezbollah opened the Lebanon front and continue to fight well and launch rockets daily into Israel (which have proved more dangerous than the Iranian bigger ones with less time to react and intercept). Israel were of the opinion that they wouldn’t because they were still too weak.   More bad intel.
this is not going so well for BN as the months count down to the GE.
Israelis have spent more than a month in shelters for what ????

that’s a chink of light for me if it helps to move him on.

is anyone buying into the idea that events last weekend were part of some attempt to build a bridgehead in sw Iran and to get hold of the 60% uranium?  Something doesn’t add up with the level of assets deployed (and that the wso shot down was a colonel).

New York Times reporting that the deal on the table includes an agreement that Iran would charge $2 million per ship passing through the Hormuz strait, which would then fund reconstruction.

On a completely different subject, I've noticed a concerted effort across media and social media to talk up the green party seeking a 55mph motorway speed limit, and a need to re-test every 5 years as a driver.

As far as I can tell, these things appeared once in a 2010 manifesto but haven't been party policy since, nor have they been suggested.

So why are lies being spread? I really,  really dislike how democracy is manipulated by money.

Starmer in the gulf today

Downing Street confirms that the trip was pre planned and not in response to the ceasefire.

which begs the question ‘who would plan a trip to the gulf on the day that the Americans were supposed to be ending the Iranian ‘civilisation’ with the promised ‘massive attacks’ from Iran ?

Anyone having a sniff this was all in place with the Iranians and the Pakistanis as meditators.  Gives trump the chance to look like he pushed the Iranians to agree with his bluster and threats ?? The end agreement and fate of the 400kgs of uranium will probably show who held the upper hand.

I haven’t seen the greens denying the policy of 55mph.  Surely that would be the easiest way of shutting it down ?

tbh, their eco policies have been notably absent from public discourse - I assume that’s not their doing but the media highlighting the other stuff.

Going to be fun seeing all the trump fans singing about how he has stopped the war and how he is playing 65d chess even though it was all his fault in the first place . Still around 3 more years of this fool in charge if his health doesn’t get to him first which is good for no one except trump himself

Just as an aside, the proposed ceasefire is between the U.S and Iran.  I’m not convinced that Israel is involved in this.. or whether this involves Irans neighbors. I can see a scenerio where Irans continues and maybe even intensifies it’s attacks on Saudi Arabia and UAE  and that missiles are maybe fired at or from Israel during the next two weeks…

Opinions are divided. I say it does, everybody else says it doesn't.

I read about this, they can't deny it because the policy is still live on their website. Its one of many hundreds of policies that are voted on by their membership, so its possible that ZP and his team weren't even aware it was their policy.

Its not a serious party really and in many ways its just the same as Reform IMO.

My take from this is that the Iranian regime is more humane and has more regard for human life, than the US government does.

All hail Donny T and his negotiating skillz!

I hope someone tells him that credit isn't due if he started the war himself.

This will be 72nd war he’s stopped.

Peter Mandelson would be proud of that level of spin.

If his objective was to plant a seed of doubt about where / how Europe & Asia gets its goods then he has achieved it.

If the US now get more orders for oil, gas, raw materials, fertilisers etc off the back of this it’ll go down as a master stroke, end of the day preserving human life is not the aim it’s about making money, clearing US debt and overall control.

I would not be at all surprised if Putin appears in the plan & picks up Asia requirements with the US getting Europe, stripping money & control away from the Middle East, after preplanned talks with Trump and him going down as stopping another war…win win for US & Russia.

We are just ♟️in their💃🕺
