Norms of civilization are gay and woke. Own the libs by bombing school girls instead.

Gerald ford left the eastern med and now in the Red Sea (and probably en route to the gulf).

this backs up the noise from centcom that the Iranian missile threat is severely diminished. If they’ve decided that they don’t need to be in the eastern med then they’re not bluffing on that.  A few pieces in the press that the Iranians have almost run out of launchers rather than missiles.

Taking a step back, what do you think of what Israel and US are doing?

And on bombing schools an hospitals

Where their enemy, sworn to destroy them, are deliberately hiding to force them to choose either to attack and kill innocents, or fail to defeat them.

Which, if true, still remains a choice to them (if a bad one) and therefore something where they bear at least some responsibility for the consequences of that choice.

There's a reason the laws and customs of war make it forbidden to destroy a "military" structure that holds civilians except in the absence of all (key word there) other options.

There's no argument for causing civilian death other than the above, and even that really needs to be examined closely in every circumstance.

Opportunistic by the Israelis who have a chance to remove Iran from being an existential threat to them for decades to come  (and perhaps forever though that relies on regime change which is extremely doubtful). an Iran which resembles modern day Iraq (ie. A political mess) wouldn’t be a bad outcome for Israel although obviously it would be for many Iranians.

not clear what the Americans are after apart from geo political stuff re China/ energy supplies to Asia/ defence tech to rogue govts (the ones USA don’t like) . The Iranian regime is a loose cannon in their eyes. They can’t control them.

But as in most things that trump does, he’s only thinking one step at a time and that’s likely to mean a very poor outcome for everyone (apart from Israel if Iran's military/missile capabilities are completely trashed)

With RM failing so abysmally with important mail, I've come up with a plan.

@Parafox will like this one.

When ambulances attend a call out, one of the paramedics can deliver the hospital letters in that street, while the other attends to the patient.

Spending the next thirty years in solitary with tv, internet, video games, hot showers.  Some people would pay for that !

FBI documents summarising interviews with a woman who made unsubstantiated claims of sexual assault against Donald Trump have been released as part of the US Department of Justice's (DOJ) trove of Epstein files.

The release follows reports that the documents were missing from the DOJ's database, prompting Democrats to accuse officials of a cover-up.

The DOJ said it mistakenly withheld the files during its review process because they had been "incorrectly coded as duplicative".

The memos describe a series of interviews in 2019 with the woman, who makes uncorroborated claims against Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. The president has consistently denied wrongdoing in relation to the late sex offender.

Good time to bury an attempted whitewash, apparently.

Fake news, completely exonerated.

And, of course, in the interest of staying relevant Farage is currently at Mar A Lago to kiss Felon#47's ring.

no, but I think doing the absolute opposite, was a great move by starmer. Starmers issue isn’t winning over the right, he’s never going to do that, his issue is winning over the left. He needed to protect himself from some leadership challenges and be  seen as the ‘ beacon for the left’.

it’s amazing (and a little bit sad really) that something as simple as saying “ No” to Trump, can be so well received by your own party and those around you in your own political spectrum.

Amazing how much the right wing press and social media platforms have been pushing this war and the polling doesn't show the public is keen on the idea.

Farage saying we should be bombing Iran previously criticised Obama for bombing campaigns and Tories are attacking Labour on or small military underfunded military is completely hypocritical.  Labour do deserve some blame in the state of our military but the Tories are the ones that deserve the bulk of the criticism for that especially after crimes.

I previously thought that the right and left were relatively both war averse in both the USA and the UK but the right was 'all talk' in this regard it seems

I think it's something Labour need to really dig in on. The dark forces running these rags would have us believing the UK population is aligned to Farage when they're really not.

An absolute monster.

Thoughts are for the parents of the girls, that this is dragged into the media spotlight again. But hopefully this offers some sort of relief and closure for them.

I believe that is called "manufacturing consent", and sadly it is something those kill-happy sociopaths are rather good at.

The 3 options are pretty limited really.
Purple and blue are much the same thing, protecting locals and British interests, and red doesn’t leave much in way of wiggle room.
If red doesn’t mention ‘wide range’ which is open to interpretation, but said military / command targets only would there be more red as some thinking will be of schools and built up areas given what’s happened there already & therefore holding back on choosing red 🤷‍♂️

Thats different to blue before someone mentions that.

In other news I can’t keep up on which papers I can read they seem to be switched from left to right & vice versa depending on the wind.
