The shortness of that Percy article is kind of telling, you read between the lines and its a bit like, this club give me absolutely fvck all so I'm going to write fvck all about them.

But why would you walk away from your current contract which the club is legally bound to, turning down an immediate significant sum of cash? 

 

There is no way on earth we haven't paid him off - its the magnitude of it that's uncertain.

What curious timing. Just before pre-season officially starts, so I guess removes the need for him to attend it...or questions be asked about why he isn't there. Must be because Ruud's got tired of being dicked about and has accepted a lower pay off, which we can afford to squeeze into this year's accounts.

 

Percy going studs up in that article, quite right too. Ruud's tenure was a disaster, but when you read/hear about the player power, toxic environment, and general incompetence of the club at the moment, even he deserved better. No Comms with him for weeks, by all accounts. Appalling.

 

As Percy finishes his article:

"Leicester need to examine themselves more than anything else right now."

 

Damn right they/we do.

I suspect this is linked to the chatter of Röhl negotiating to do the same at Hillsborough and things are moving too quickly to wait.

Those who had been insisting we couldn't say a word until July - either they're wrong or we have done a classic KPFC and handicapped ourselves for no reason.

I think one of the options was to keep Ruud if they couldn't get Rohl. Now he's agreed they've sacked him.

Miffed at Percy finally sticking the boot in when the club's incompetence is affecting him.

 

Although I do feel a slight pang of sympathy for RVN after reading it.
