My god, the picture on BBC on his wedding day, with his 3 young kids really hit me

The caption as well; 'Yes, forever' :(

The only tiny, tiny crumb of comfort for the family is that he was at a club that, no matter what you think of him, will probably support and look after them better than any other

Couple things on my mind or have irritated me recently, puts it all into perspective that life is precious and not much else matters. Same age as myself but with a marriage and 3 kids, has knocked me for six.

Absolutely heartbreaking 💔.  Like others have said, it's puts things into perspective. Him having 3 young kids makes it even more terrible and I'll be giving my 2 kids a big cuddle when I pick them up from school.

Absolutely hated him as a player with the amount of goals he scored against us.

But this is so sad, no one deserves to die that like so young as well. RIP to his family. His wife will be heartbroken

He won the Premier League title in May.
He got married in June.
He passes away in July.
Life can be so unfair!

his brother also killed in the accident.

Tyre blow out, crashed car, burst into flames. Both killed (according to the Marca link above)

Apparently they were trying to over-take another vehicle.

Could be that they were taking a risk that ended tragically.

Shocking.. :(

This is life isn't, it; no-one expects this sort of thing to happen, and shows that life can be fragile.

Seen the supposed car. Had no chance

Yeah that unfortunately has cropped up on my timeline….you pray they felt nothing.

Very reminiscent of the Paul Walker accident

One of those terrible tragedies that leaves you in complete shock.  Heartbreaking to here about his recent wedding and his young children.  I can't imagine what the family is going through.

Wow just woke up to this. Tragic is an understatement. R.I.P.

Much strength and love to his family.

Hug your family/friends/pets today.

No need for pointless speculation on what he was or wasn't doing really.

Incredibly sad, the kids aspect makes you feel a bit sick tbh.

I do wish that people wouldn't announce what team they support when leaving messages of condolences on social media

No one cares and to be totally honest football doesn't even matter at times like this

Really sad day 😞

Totally agree. “RIP from a Man Utd fan” really irks me. It’s like they’re looking for praise or something. Who cares what club you support on a day like today.
