he’s not involved on an hour to hour basis. He pays people a lot of money to run the club. He doesn't need to be here to make the important decisions.  He can do that from Thailand. If he comes over to play polo then I just don’t see what the issue is.  he can tie in with visits up here and face to face chats with a potential new head coach.

we both agree that those charged with running the club aren’t doing a good job.  But it doesn’t look like he’ll be changing anything because whelan is a KP stalwart and Rudkin is trusted.  We all think that vichai wouldn’t have maintained this status quo - but top doesn’t have whatever it takes to do what’s necessary.

Fully understand your point, but we've had a few articles/clips recently that have mentioned our system requires large numbers of approval/sign-off. It wouldn't shock me if he was a delay in a few of these.

I hear there is a delay because they needed to get him a new laptop, and they accidentally bought one on a prime day deal but selected extended delivery. Really hoping it arrives tomorrow so they can setup his email in time for the trip on Wednesday.

Glad we’re not rushing things…….
Only 80+ days since we were relegated.
Only over 2 weeks since Ruud went.
Cifuentes officially left QPR on the 24th June.

Absolutely shocking.

Also consider Ruud should have gone months ago, so although he left 2 weeks ago we should have been looking months ago.

The delay is because Top accidentally took Rudkin's phone charger back home to Thailand at the weekend instead of his own. Rudkin's phone is dead and has no way of contacting Marti to finalise the deal as he's still using a Nokia N96. That's what I've been told anyway, amateur behaviour if true

He should have been sacked on Monday 21st April. The day after relegation was confirmed.

So embarrassing he is paying half of the compensation. I’d like to hear from the club as to why? Fair play to the manager, gives me a lot of hope, but god how far we’ve fallen due to mis-management. They should be ashamed to show their faces

Tears, I told you all.. as reported by me thanks to my Seagrave contact @KaspersFriendlyGhost.

He will not need a Visa to work in Austria, so  at least he can work with the team there🤔

Surely he will as he'll be working for a UK business.

Edit: I have absolutely no idea on visa law by the way

You want, Jon Rudkin, to negotiate with the Austrian authorities regarding an emergency one week work visa...

I'll genuinely section you.

Cafu yes is Spanish so can work in Austria. To work in the UK Leicester need to transfer his approval that cannot be done until QPR acknowledge his release/termination. It is also predicated on no objections to his new visa registration. If all is as reported I expect a week before they can formally announce.

Spain member of the EU, so see no issues.  Failing that, he can use my Austrian Residency Card if he gets stuck.

He more than likely isn't paying any of his compensation, moreso taking a hit to the tune of 250k on the payout he would have received from QPR because he's taking on a new job.

Not sure I’ve ever felt more embarrassed than when I read he’s paying half his 500k release clause. As the kids would say, this football club has well and truly given me the ick

Pretty sure he’s not

it’s likely more nuanced than that

I would stake my mortgage on it being a means that him forgoing 250k of his notice period payment and allocating that to his compensation clause means we save 250k against psr cos we aren’t paying it.

I reckon the 250k that he’s forgoing  is that he could technically demand from them as his notice period payment balance.  In most situations these days, the manager would expect to be double paid but in this instance he’s accepted he won’t be.

You can spin that any way you want.

if you want to make it say he’s paid half his compo then you could.

Something is missing from this compensation story that Rob hasn't been told. It will be due to accountancy trickery that will moved around the books, legally obvs, to avoid breaking rules (PSR?) ensuring that no one misses out. I think it's a load of bollox.

Plus a likely eye-watering bonus or pay rise if we go up.

Yeah I agree, he'll get his money back in some way.

No way you should still be posting in this thread after your ITK shambles of the last few weeks

Can't believe your doubting Jon, he'll get it sorted by September, no bother.
