I do worry with regards to Okoli, as I don’t think he will have the long range passing ability Cifuentes will want from his defenders.

 

For the record Nelson and Okoli is the only correct answer for our centre back partnership

People dreaming of an Okoli Nelson partnership are going to get a rude awakening. Can't see it despite us fans thinking that will be the best partnership.

 

He will like Vestergaards passing and he will assume Faes is good because he played for us last season and is a Belgian international. People will sit off us next season so our CBs will become passing merchants like the last time we were in the Championship.

Maybe not both of them playing all the time but I think it'll be a seriously missed opportunity to not utilise Nelson.

I really wanna see Marti go with Nelson and Okoli and then he’s Vesty as back-up.

 

Coady and Faes need to go. If we go into this season using these pair regularly I’ll be really disappointed in the new coaching team. 
 

Same with Soumare, if he’s used regularly at the expense of players like Page, Alves or Braybrooke then what are we doing? 
 

BDCR should just be released.

Thinking about this. Key difference from RVN to Marti will be use of substitutes to change games and ease in Monga, Alves etc and Fatawa. So we should be picking 16 not 11, and have a proper plan B, seriously missing with our last two managers.

I like this.  Mavididi needs time but he has shown befirvthat he can run route 1 into the box abd pull the trigger. 

I don't understand ruuds treatment of okoli... he will be fine in the championship imo

He got injured and didn't recover very well last year so everyone's convincing themselves Stolarczyk is better in advance so that we're less depressed when he leaves for way less than he's worth.

People don't believe Jakub is better , it's almost a certainty he'll leave. We need funds for the gaffa to bring in who he wants!

Monga has to be managed carefully.  There will need to be rotation and he will need to be rested at times.  I would have a first 11 that has him rotate in and out

There will definitely be some people who do believe that, largely on the basis that having a keeper who can pass the ball is modern tippy tappy nonsense and all that matters is making saves (which of course Hermansen is also very good at, but that has to be forgotten for the sake of the argument)
