Anybody that refers to loyal fans who spend hard earned money to watch the Club as "happy clappers" is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

It’s become a popular effort at contempt towards fans who don’t spend the match booing their own players.

The situation is embarrassing for EFL and English football. One week before the start of the season everything is a mess. And I'm quite certain it's not only Sheff Wed with this kind of problems.

Meanwhile, someone who isn't involved in ANY WAYS with Forest is posting photos with new signings and the football authorities are blind because they think Marinakis is just a Colombian actor.

Shambles.

If it get postponed do we just play it another time or does

it get cancelled and we get points?

If they can not fulfill the fixture we get awarded 3-0 win and 3 points

They have under 18’s/u21’s, unless the squad flat out refuses to play they’ll play

Well they refused to play tomorrow's friendly so I wouldn't be surprised.

Even better news for city as they have even less match practice. Looking a easy win this

Do you think the club would accept a forfeit? Would probably need to give refunds and lose out on revenue.

If we are expecting a points deduction then of course we take it

good luck, the moron wants £100mil for them and even then i suspect he'd still move the goalposts on the deal

Imagine if your house collapsed and nothing but rubble left and then put your house on market for a million... exactly the same 😂

Think financially they’re a lot less incentivised to play a friendly, if they’re there for the season they may not want the fines that would no doubt arrive a lot faster than their wages should they miss out, reckon Chansiri wouldn’t mind an excuse to fine them all a couple weeks of wages

No I haven’t. It’s in hundreds of texts from last season.

I bet you can't find a post that explicitly says that you're a "happy clapper" if you "don't spend the match booing your own players".

Because you made it up :)

Is it this chairman doesn't want to spend money or just has no money?

Either way, a very historic club is staring down to oblivion right now and the EFL themselves are "worried", according to the BBC, about the situation and also if they will have a squad for the first game of the season. The same EFL who deemed this guy fit and proper to run a football club.....

Hope Wednesday fans make some noise, and hope something good comes out of this in the end. No team should be a week away from their first game and not even know if they will have 11 players to stick on the pitch.

Does it make you feel better if you think it’s made up?
