Nelson every day of the week, the reality of playing younger players is they’re inconsistent, if they weren’t they wouldn’t be at a team 12th in the Championship they’d be in the Prem

Don't think it was anywhere near as bad as that. Could and should have done better with the first 2 goals, especially the first bit second half he was good.

 

Actually watched the first goal back and Vestergaard moves away from the ball as it comes in, so he's far more culpable. Should have been stopped at source anyway.

Don't bother mate. For some inexplicable reason that i cannot work out, Vestergaard is completely untouchable on this forum.

Our defense is shocking tbh, has been for years and most teams build out from the back.

Quite simply players have to learn. Faes et al have done their learning. Nelson isn’t finished. So you play the lad whose not the finished product because the pay off is bigger

not for me I would bin off Vesty in an instant,  he's too slow, can't jump and is utterly miserable, must be a nightmare to be around...give him a seat in the winks exit taxi and make sure there is space for faes and soumare

Nelson is a young player with plenty of potential. Mistakes will happen. I can live/accept them as long he keeps learning/developing. There’s enough good there to get behind. Same with Aluko even with the sending off. 
 

Vestegaard - has had a man pull

off him at least 3 times this year and been at fault for at least 4 key goals (is probably more). He has also been part of a defence who has collapsed multiple times in the last 2 1/2 years and is classed by a few on here as “our best defender”. He’s 30 something. There is no real learning left. He’s a problem now. Alongside Thomas. 
 

We need Souttar and Okoli to come back and find some form. No guarantee but Faes and Vestegaard have ran their race with us - that’s the problem we can no longer live with.

Given the same poster probably never criticises Vestergaard and Faes, yes. Come on, calling for Nelson not to play again is massively extreme no?

If only Marti would face up to the reality, that you can't build a solid defence around Vesty and Thomas.
