It's very early days, but our complete lack of synergy is concerning; having a new manager and a new system is not an excuse for failing to do the basics. We need names out of the door and fresh faces in. Lethargic performance all round.

Not bothered about the result. That performance was woeful. Huddersfield looked the much more composed team on the ball. They'd made 9 changes as well. We have too many passengers and players that are half arsed. Also some that just aren't good enough. 

 

Long season ahead based on the first 180 minutes. Those who are happy to stay in the Championship for a couple of seasons might get their wish.

I don't even care about being out of the cup. I'm far more worried about how bad we were. Also, a bit of a reality check about managing our expectations on some of the youngster. We cant judge them off one game but it's a reminder that the likes of Nelson and Alves are a long way off being dependable for an entire season.

When you lead twice, and still manage to lose on penalties, you know something isn't right.

Soumaré can definitely look elsewhere for a club, don't want this man anywhere near the first team.

I couldn't care less about this game but that performance was concerning but my biggest concern is that if Marti continues to pick Soumare, the crowd will turn very nasty very quickly. He was disgusting against Wednesday and even worse tonight. He's the laziest player I've ever seen. Utter shite. Defensively we were crap tonight. 2 utterly shite goals conceded from disgusting defending.
