Genuinely not arsed about the result, but the performances from some were criminal. Soumare and Skipp look to be the worst midfield pairing I've ever seen. Choudhury doing Choudhury things. McAteer anonymous, same with Alves. Less said about Daka the better - a striker HAS to be priority. It's a shame for Nelson, but hopefully he will bounce back - thought Monga and Page both looked so promising too.

We just have too many crap players now. Constant downgrading will do that. Very little talent left in this squad now.

Another poor showing, and a very concerning one. I know some are quick to state it’s only game two, however, that is a team in a rot, with no confidence, no self belief and no mental resilience. 
 

We’re carrying a squad largely of players who either want away, or have burned their bridges here. This isn’t conducive to a successful team. 
 

This is a squad on the slide in free fall. Unless we can muster up some miracles with the cheque book, it’s likely we will struggle to stay up. 
 

Far too many mistakes in the team, we’re weak through the spine and have no fight.

A positive is that it’s obvious who are absolutely shite ie Hamza, Mcateer, Soumare, Daka. These ****ers are like super shite - atrocious footballers

We look a team woefully short on confidence and there’s no fluidity to our play at all.

 

It’s very difficult to see us getting promoted based on the first two matches. They don’t look up for it, we don’t have a goal scorer and we’re very reliant on about 3 players.

 

This season has midtable written all over it.

Don’t mind losing on penalties, but Ayew could not have made it clearer where he was putting his. It was absolutely pathetic.

 

Don’t mind a miss like BEKs and McAteer’s was just a poor effort.

 

All round crap game, which resembled two EFL plodders. 
 

They could’ve won in the 90. Wouldn’t have been unfair if they had.

 

Can’t play out from the back, don’t press particularly well, poor/lazy passing, constantly taking the safe option or running into blind alleys. Gifting the opposition chances and just generally struggling to do the basics.

 

It’s going to be a long season.

I don't think we need to be getting too excited about a promotion push. That was Huddersfield's reserves FFS.

 

The mismanagement of the club is really biting us now. A squad full of shit players on massive wages. Our decent players will be gone by the end of the month. We're putting too much pressure on young players, too soon.

 

Everytime you think it can't get worse, Rudders and Top manage to do just that. Words cannot describe how much I loathe those two *****.
