I know ability comes into it but the biggest thing I fear this season is...

And not just the case of not trying, but also trudging around in a giant sulk like Winks. Don't care about the theatrics in the background, they still should be professional enough to do their job and play for the badge that is paying their weekly salary!

I remind anyone who thinks we piss the league that our squad has the spine of a jellyfish.

These bitches will roll over at the slightest pressure and go into a sulk, blaming the manager.

Presume he means the culture of having everything but not earning it.

The facilities are immense in quality, but the players who get to experience it haven't exactly got the success to fall back on to enjoy it.

The plus of Seagrave is that it's clearly had an impact on the youth that is coming through...

The last time we had such volume of players with less than a year left we defied science and got relegated, its a valid fear given the toxic culture here.

Need to move more on, Thomas, JJ, Winks, Ayew, Ricardo, Daka and Soumare, should all be available.

A little bit old fashioned and I am only half serious, but I would like to see Marti smash a few of those players into the middle of next week. He seems a bit to friendly

In principle I 100% agree but we are reaching a point now that we'd just leave no time to get any replacements given how we tend to operate.

I think we could afford to lose a few more but we need a few in as well and i'm unnerved by the lack of media reports on what we're up to, it all points towards zero incomings.

There's no way these can't be arsed cretins are going to get us promoted,it's gonna take another 2 yrs for all these to be gone and we start again. Feel sorry for the manager what he's  been delt with ,third manger who can't get a tune out of these ****wits. The sooner Top etc  **** off the better ,the way they've ruined this club is heartbreaking.

The OP was talking about over inflated ego's, players not trying, thinking they are too good to be here. It's been discussed over and over that a laissez-faire attitude seems to originate from Seagrave. Even the players have mentioned it. All that money spent and very little to show at the sharp end.

The young players we have need strong role models...players that care but sadly other than Fattawu, Ricardo, Mavididi and Jakub there are far to many bad examples of complacent (can't be arsed) players that won't help their progress

Being massively overpaid breeds a level of confidence way beyond their ability

Not the worst culprits but Hamza and Mavididi prime examples of bang average (if even that) players who’ve won the lottery here. What do they have to work hard for?  They’ve massively exceeded anything they could expect based on performance alone. There is no step up for these players.
The squad is full of players who k ow they’re taken the absolute piss and as a result just waft through games likely thinking of what’s for dinner or what the next cat is. I despise the. Majority of the squad

100% Winks not celebrating is a disgrace tbh, it ok if he is capable in the league but if he is not playing with any kind of commitment, passion or whatever you want to call it in regards to the club then whats the point.

Same goes for Wout Faes, yea he may have got booed which is not really a good look for the fans but he knows the fans don't rate him, cups his ears which is fair play if you just got booed on the pitch but this in not the environment we want, everyone should be pushing in the same direction.

We are in a bit of a cross roads atm tbh, we need a squad of players who want to be here and win things together, going to be a long road for Marti at this rate.

Take a look at Bilal he is a perfect example, probably shouldn't be playing at this level but is still 100% committed and shows he cares, Same with Vesterguard tbf.

Let them have their sulks for now. Get it out their system. If they even have goals to not celebrate then they're doing more than last season.

Hopefully if we can get some results, after a few weeks the mood will start to feel lighter again.

You could lose the like of Thomas and Soumare without batting eye.
