Be a few more plod out than normal I would suggest, last time they were here there was some bother near Braunie Gate way.

Especially with it being a night game.

Dunno, hes always looked pretty quick off the ball to me. Problem for me is he doesn't utilise it when he has the ball, and when hes making a run hes too slow to make his decision of when and where to go.. so by that point the 5 yards he'd have gained hes already lost.

Thats if he hasn’t tripped himself up under no pressure.

They're one point ahead of us after three games. They lost at home to a League Two side on Tuesday without having a single shot on target, despite having their best attacking players on the pitch for most of the second half. A few days before that, they struggled to beat second-bottom Oxford at home with just one shot on target. Over the first three games, they are 13th in the table for chances created (we're third).

I'd love somebody to explain why everybody seems to regard them as overwhelming favourites....

We’re a bunch of overly hormonal middle aged men, who worry about everything, including Birmingham City.

2020 just before Covid if I remember. With success though they could have a slightly different away following.

They've supposedly got very good CMs. We need to get/keep the ball out wide, more so than usual!

I think this is where me may lose the game.

Let the wingers have lots of possession and keep the ball away from them...

This game is going to make me despair for our complete blind spot in scouting Japanese players after Shinji, isn't it?

Bilal is available but I don't think he'll play.

Probably be the same for one or two more. Every week we're not told of certain players availability. They can't all get injured within 24 hours of the presser.

Stolarcyzk

Ricardo

Faes

Vestergaard

Thomas

Winks

Soumare

Fatawu

BEK

Mavididi

Ayew

Some of those choices are out of necessity, others I’m hoping will use the game as a last chance to impress potential buyers.

I’d go with this team apart from Daka for Ayew.

Daka is a dreadful footballer, but at least he presses from the front and plays like a striker. Ayew offers very little in that respect.

I’d bring Ayew on later when legs are tired and the game is stretched. He seems to play his best for us as a late sub.

(Admittedly this discussion is as depressing as the days when we could choose between Elvis Hammond and Mark DeVries)

Unless he sees this as a last chance to put himself in the shop window before Monday? I suspect any tantrum might be saved until after the window has closed if nobody comes up with an acceptable offer. He's trained today, I understand.

  Ricardo         Okoli        Vestergaard      Thomas

                  Choudhury Winks Soumare

Fatawu                                                      Monga/Mav

                                  Daka

problem with this we don't have anyone creating from Midfield, would have Bilal in for Soumare if he wants to play.

If he plays Skipp then he has clearly not watched the last 3 games
