Not playing well and still winning. Can't fault the effort which makes a change. Nice to see players that are clearly playing for the manager. A work in progress but points on the board that matter.

One of the better performances from the dynamic duo of Skipp and Soumare. Great for Ric to get a goal too.

Okoli though, man he's crap.

Clean sheets……thought we were rock solid……interesting couple of days upcoming, Soumare and Skipp looked the part, Skipp pass first goal, roll on Oxford……

If opposition teams are as hyped up like Brum and play as sh1r, we are laughing all the way.

Agree. I was astonished given the recent acclaim how impotent they were in the final third.

The sluggish pace and the space afforded at this level however has allowed the likes of Vestergaard, Hamza and even Bouba to find their level again. Not technically great, but Ricardo looked like a breath of fresh air, it's glorious to see Monga run at a defence, Hamza has finally worked out how to time his tackles, Vestergaard can realise his Beckenbauer fantasies once more and wonderful to see Abdul's irrepressible enthusiasm dancing to ABBA at the end. Despite my dread pre-match really enjoyed tonight. And I thought the atmosphere was much improved too.

We may have found a decent coach

rudkin gets lucky 😂😂😂

that was very very professional tonight

He’s definitely that sort of coach that will get the best out of his players even while the squad gets smaller and smaller. He definitely plays to the strength of what he has.

I hope the club can help him out with one or two good incomings.

But but but Birmingham! But Jay Stansfield! Gray!

Stansfield wasn't playing and I'm pretty sure we injured Gray early on and he was never at 100 per cent. They were toothless, nice possession at times and a decent side but would never have scored if they were playing til next week.

Anybody aware of any major problems after the game? 11 cop cars whizzed by me on Anstey Lane at around 11pm.

Tom Brady was giving it large like “I can buy your whole club” Bernie heard it and called up the baby squad, safe to say mr Brady won’t be having any children in the near future

Didn't know coke/beer/other substance suppressed the ability to detect sarcasm? Interesting.

You need to use the /s mark and spell it out for them, like I did earlier :P

Anyone booing Gray is a proper loser by the way.

I thought this, anyone really got anything against him?

The Leicester reject chant is always fun though!

Very happy with that. Imagine how good we will be with some more cohesion.

The way I see it, we are practically still in pre-season mode due to how unsettled our squad is, & yet, we have nine points from our first four games.

With some more sh!t out of the door & three or so good signings, we could be in for a very good season.

Today to be fair to the players they looked up for it. If we had a slight upgrade to Skipp and Soumaré then I think we would piss this league again even with Daka and Ayew upfront. I think this may be the first season in a long time where our strikers will not be the top scorers.

Just to play devil's advocate, if Birmingham had someone who could play that final ball then we may not have won that.

Also I thought it was really poor taste by some of our fans booing Dimi. I liked him when he was here, don't forget he has some major competition and still he scored "that" goal and revealed that top which in my eyes makes him one of ours. Worse still was the "Demarai Grey is fuching shit" chant. He's far from our most hated ex players.

Gray wasn't a particularly good player for us in all honesty. A handful of brilliant flashes were few and far between. Ayoze was more impactful and consistent. At least that's how I remember it.

As usual some negative stuff on here. Better than last week at Charlton defensively although they were toothless.

the players look like they are bothered which is what we want.

Marti will play youngsters, again  that's what we want .

Early days but encouraging nonetheless .

I remember a great goal at Sheff U midweek,  probably a cup game. Apart from that he never delivered consistently.
