Exciting forward Julián Carranza has joined the Leicester City ranks on a season-long loan from Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord, subject to international and league clearance.

He has also spent time playing in Major League Soccer in the United States
The 25-year-old made 30 appearances for the Rotterdam club in all competitions last term, including seven in the UEFA Champions League, after an impressive four-year spell in Major League Soccer.
Speaking on Foxes Hub, he said: “I’m really happy and really excited to be here. I’m thankful for this opportunity so I cannot wait to get started.
“When the opportunity came up, of course I didn’t have any single doubt about it. We all know what Leicester City is as a team, and as an institution as well, so when the opportunity came, I was really excited for it.
“I have some experience in different places. Of course, this is a new experience as well. Everyone wants to play in England. Every single player wants to play here, so I’m really excited and I can’t wait to get started.
“I’ve been watching Leicester for a long time so, as I said, I know the team, I know the institution as well. We all know around the world what this team is. When the opportunity came up, I had no doubts about it.”
Carranza was born in Argentina and started his career at Argentine Primera División side Banfield, before making the switch to MLS side Inter Miami in 2019.
He spent four years in the MLS with The Herons and Philadelphia Union, racking up a total of 37 goals and 15 assists from 115 regular season matches in the United States, becoming a key part of the side that finished runners-up in the 2022 MLS Cup.
Julián’s performances earned him a move to the Eredivisie in the summer of 2024, where his goals in his debut campaign helped Feyenoord to a third-place finish in the league, as well as the knockout phases of the UEFA Champions League.
He will now link up with his Leicester City team-mates who are next in action against Oxford United in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday 13 September (12:30pm kick-off).

I think that is the modern day accepted term for madhouse or lunatic asylum so perhaps fitting.
