Probably Covs biggest strength is their midfield which has dominated nearly all of the games this season. In Rudoni and Torp they have a talented duo and the biggest compliment is James and Winks elevated our midfield with dynamism and ball retention. Both will be critical and by the end of the season those naysayers will be begging we sign JJ - he would be even more dynamic if slightly withdrawn and we played him alongside Winks allowing Ayew in the 10.

Some fans watch a different game he is the best midfielder we have signed for a long while !

He is quality and as I said before he is the best we have signed for a long time - he is much better as an orthodox 8 than a 10 - quality and will bring us goals from midfield !

he was different gravy again today

He’s been the best thing about the last two matches. Must start

We really do need - if the option is there, to sign him on a permanent deal.

Sadly - he'll no doubt be on the radar of other clubs.

We can ill afford another "Lookman moment"

He's the kind of player we really should be looking at for our  rebuild.

Anyone up for a "GOFUNDHIM"?

Absolute mustard, been three games and he's first name on the teamsheet now.

It's not even just a Garth Crooke 'Who Scored XI' response, he runs the midfield box-to-box in a way we've clearly been lacking. KDH is the obvious comparison but honestly think his ceiling is higher. Reminds me of peak Drinkwater in a lot of ways.

Having the option to sign this guy is honestly a great bit of business.

By the end of this season he'll be much better than the player Rennes bought and he was pretty good then.

A superb loan so far, and potentially an even better permanent signing.

Not following through on it could be on par with not signing Lookman in terms of the difference both players could give/could have given the squad.

Exactly what I thought he'd bring in terms of that proper box to box role. But that goal today and just generally he's more technically gifted than I imagined. Long overdue but looking like a great deal

12 goals for KDH 2 years ago it's a realistic target for JJ, he's 4 years younger than KDH was and when you look at the buy fee compared to what we got for KDH has to be done.

How many of us have been asking for more low risk signings? (think the alleged £4m fee)

Imagine last if last summer, we spent that on 4/5 players rather than Skipp and Edouard’s loan fee?

The funny thing is, I think this is the kind of market where we generally excel, James, Abdul, Mads have all been young players not costing ridiculous money, it’s definitely an area where Glover seems to do well.

Speaks really well as well. Gets the club already. Wants to be here. Pay the dough now.

Looked good against Wrexham and a fantastic  goal today.

Could hopefully be the missing link we so desperately  need in the middle🙏

Just imagine if we signed him instead of Skipp last season, so much money would've been saved, top player

Definitely the same genre of player as KDH. I think James can actually use both feet though :giggle:

As if, at age 36 I ever needed a new favourite Leicester player - this guy comes along. He's muzzy, kingy and KDH in one. Be nice to make this perm asap
