I'll give you one reason.

His knees are held together with chewing gum and his first whiff of Seagrave will put him in A and E.

For sure, might well happen, but offer him 3 months to see if by some miracle that doesn't happen.

There was actually only 4 games last season he was unavailable for selection.

Ramsey is out for 2025. When he comes back he will need time again to integrate.

we are now minus 1 very important player.

i really have no idea how this season is gonna go so I'm stop going to think about it. Just 1 game at a time and see where we eventually end up.

No matter how good he might be, there's no way he should stay in Jan, he should be back at Burnley now with our best wishes.

Replacement needed, end of.

Feel for the kid. Injuries suck and for him he’s had some really bad luck with it. Hope he comes thru eventually. Lots of potential

Yeah sorry I should have softened it more. Clearly a very talented family but his brother has avoided injury and recently went for £40m!

I just don't think we're in a position to rehab players, that's a Preston type job, where you know you're going to finish mid table so you just take whatever you're given.

Real shame. Was looking to be one of our key players. Unfortunately we all know hamstrings are par for the course with major ACL injuries. Cifuentes tried to manage his minutes, and he probably played more minutes against Hull than expected due to the terrible start but we are in a mess now. If he sticks with a 10 then I’d go for Ayew in that role with Carrenza in the 9 role. The other option is he reverts to Enzo’s  single pivot 6 and two number 8’s with James in the KDH role and one of Hamza or Soumare as the more destructive Ndidi style 8.

As for Rambo, if the strain is bad, his time here could well be over 😔

Disappointing, must be a real gut punch for him personally having not long returned from another bad injury. Even through fitness and suspension you could see glimpses of how talented he is and his two goals were both excellent in very different ways.

Shame Page is away but realistically he'd probably remain locked up in the dungeon with Nelson anyway. No real reason to believe we'll change shape so I expect either James labouring out of position or Ayew parked in our half trying to win free kicks for 90 minutes.

Time for 442 as 352 seems a little bit risque for us.

Does anything get any more risky than playing a 4 with Choudhury and Thomas in it?

Think we look a lot better when we change to a back three in games.

Ok a bit better

Anything for a change at this point, just hope Marti is trying things out in training.

When is he anticipated to be back?

Can’t be that much longer surely, he’s been out for 7 weeks so far … a pretty bad hamstring strain ya looking at 8 weeks. But if he’s had surgery, it’ll be a while yet.

I think Ramsey is the difference between a successful season (meaning playoffs or not)

We've not even seen a fully fit version of him yet and he's already had a positive impact when he's played with goals.

If BDCR stays fit and gets even better, Mavadidi gets some confidence, Abdul gets back to his best with a fully firing Ramsey then things are looking positive for a change.

I know there's a lot of "ifs" there but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

For example, like the Sun comes up in the morning, you know Daka isn't going to ever be prolific unfortunately so if I'd mentioned him in the sentence above you know that's not going to happen. Could easily see the others building confidence from now on though...

Also Nelson cementing his place and Harry S returning soon our fortunes could be flipped
