Ayew in the second half = playing up top with someone else and looks better.

 

Wake up Marti, Ayew hasn’t played well when leading the line on his own.

The people who put Skipp and Winks in the same box have me questioning my sanity. They are miles apart.

It's a 46 game season. There will be times where the experience of the likes of Reid will be invaluable and there will times where the youthful exuberance of Monga/Page etc will win us games.

 

Winks and Faes shouldn't be playing because they've spent the summer trying to get out of the club but I accept there will be pressures on Marti because they'll be earning 150k a week between them.

 

Marti has shown that he's here to provide a direct link between the academy and the 1st team. Not sure how you could claim otherwise.

I’d get Faes on and shut up shop, on 70. Try and see it out for a point and maybe try and nick one in the break.

I would say the complete lack of effort we see in every single game from Soumare and Skipp is just as disrespectful as Winks

 

At least Winks is actually a good player at this level

I swear I saw Winks geeing the crowd up when we scored. If so, that’s a good sign that he’s going to knuckle down and play for the team.

I'm not talking 4 or 5 but Nelson, Monga and Page, possibly Aluko are very much capable against every player in their position in this squad. Don't forget, we need to rebuild, not just try and get up and survive again doing the same as before.

 

Marti has some difficult decisions to make but for example, if he wants to play possession football then you have Nelson in there over Okoli. It's peculiar.
