3 draws in the last 3 is not great and today, that performance going forward wasn’t great. 
 

Need to make something click going forward. Never easy chasing a game I get that but we looked toothless at times. And that isn’t ever ok.

Soumaré was actually one of our best players.

 

Mavididi played alright, was unlucky to be subbed and Monga was, on this occasion, an inferior replacement.

 

The Monga booking was deserved.

He was crap. Every time we touched them it was a foul. Stupid hand gestures. Ridiculously tight top. Bloke knew he was on tv. But wasn’t the reason that we were really poor after a strong start. The lack of goal scoring opportunities was a concern. Until we scored we had 1 shot on target from a centre half.

Exactly the same as Coventry for me, we are organised, look solid when Faes isn't having one of his moments. Which has to be seen as a positive.

 

But 2 games back to back we look absolutely toothless going forward, never really created a clear cut chance. Ayew absolutely kills us going forward.

 

We simply have to get better in the final 3rd by some distance. Still early so there is alot of time for us to evolve and get better, but certainly a red flag to repeat the same mistakes 2 games in a row.

All a bit crap. Wrexham... just give someone other than Faes/Vestegaard time. I refuse to believe Nelson could serve up anything as laughably bad as Sideshow bob did tonight. You have to hope once Ramsey is back from suspension we settle into a James-Winks-Ramsey central three but then still need something up front. Ayew gets worse every game, Daka is done here and Carranza didn't look much cop tonight.
