Thomas won 0 of his duels in that half, conceded 2 fouls and was guilty of one error leading to an opponent shot on goal… oh, and he’s on a yellow and got rinsed by his man every time

Marti has to tell the boys to just speed things up a bit and be more direct and decisive. Go for their jugular! Our quick 1-2 passing around them is too much for them.

we can’t slow down to suit them ffs. 
I don’t mind playing at this pace if we are already 3 or 4-0 up.

We've been predictably wasteful (scored with our only shot on target, missed the bag with ten others ), but that's the best 45 we've had this season IMO. Completely in control, albeit against a very average football team.

 

Their best chance came from an individual mistake, which is the story of the Leicester.

Some decent stuff and some poor stuff. The contrast between James and Soumare is massive. We have a midfield now.

Our fullbacks look weak and Thomas need to subbed because this ref ignores the Wrexham assaults and nearly gave Thomas a second yellow already.

Too many poor mistakes and Hamza twice with massive blunders. But some decent movement at times. It is hard to beat the double block and we already done it once. 

 

I love Monga and will enjoy every moment his gets in a Leicester shirt, because he will not be here for long.

Faes looks shaky though, and Thomas is his usual self. Bit annoying their only decent player is up against our worst!

 

Got to win this though, they are not a good side.

So much more positive without Ayew.  It’s almost like we don’t need someone holding up the ball and drawing fouls at every opponent. 
 

Much better without Soumare as well.

I like Luke, but he has to be hooked.

 

His winger has had him on toast all evening and now he's on a yellow and maybe got away with one.

 

I'd like Daka to score and turn it around for him here, abd it WAS a nice assist, but really, would any of us bet on it?

 

James was great first 20 and lovely goal.

It feels like a lot of games so far this season. Control possession. Don't create too much but threaten to potentially create something great (see the goal). Always a brain fart at the back away from conceding. 

 

Thomas needs to get dragged. Don't see Kristiansen doing any better but we don't want to go down to 10 in another game that we should be winning.

Hamza got off lucky with that sloppy pass back. If Wrexham were half decent they would have got a couple of goals already.

He's linking up really well with Daka.

Which is the real takeaway here - Daka's link up play in general today is way better than anything Ayew's done in the past few games. Great work for JJ's goal too. Which, considering it's one of the few things I've been praising him for, is telling on Ayew's part. If Marti has eyes in his skull and not a pair of snooker balls, Patson is getting his spot going forwards.

He looks better as he’s not being expected to run the length of the pitch constantly. He can float around and try and link things.
