He’s not going anywhere is he. 
Just look at the atmosphere and fans faces yesterday the stadium is absolutely flat. Top doesn’t realise or is even bothered about the disconnect between the fans and the club

the front six is pretty straightforward, Winks James, Fatawu, Ramsey are all more than good enough, Monga (assuming Mav is still injured) and, much as this place likes to dunk on him at every opportunity, Daka makes us a better side with his movement.

 

the defence though. If he lines up Faes, Vestegaard, Thomas again, jumping off the humber bridge would be a more enticing prospect than watching this game

Braybrooke was sold as the new Iniesta by many and now hes on loan at Newport....

 

Alves was sold as Messi by many, not seen him do a single good thing in first team football.

 

The only name I didn't hear people bigging up just happens to be Jeremy Monga,  the only one that actually looks any good!

Dont get me started with Nelson Van Dijk who multiple managers evidently dont trust but the forum continue to sell him as an England starter.

I think you're also forgetting Barnes, Chilwell, KDH, Nelson and to a lesser extent Hamza and Thomas.

 

Our academy has been a proven source of talent and we have a crop that look like they have the potential to be very good.  The trouble is, they don't come ready made.  If you expect that, then you're going to be disappointed.  You have to develop them and invest time into them.

 

The two that you have mentioned have had serious injuries that have cost them both a year of development.  Alves has done well at Cardiff I believe and literally nobody said he was going to be Lionel Messi.

Don't remember a bit rave about  Stolarcyk to be honest but I probably missed it. We were blessed with Kasper & Mads though so the only time we had cause to call for a replacement was when we had Ward in goal but people would have been happy for their own Nan to step in for him.

 

The others I totally agree with, but all came in when we had a good squad.

 

I was referring more to the players who people have been putting in their starting 11 predictions as if they are saviours and good replacements for regular first team players when actually, none of them really are.

I expect him to probably give it up when (not if, when) he's taken us to our lower ever position. I think the penny may be dropping a bit for him now.

I'd get a handful of academy lads in.

 

I was listening to BSLB the other day and I agreed with every last word.

 

Just keep Faes away from the team, he's a liability.

 

I just don't care anymore.

 

As for Daka, he's not even good enough to come off the bench, he doesn't even look good enough to be a competition winner.

Jeremy Monga was absolutely getting bigged up it’s just that his progression has happened a lot quicker. 
 

Braybrooke & Alves both suffered ACL injuries just as both looked to be getting closer to the first team. I do feel like people forget that when taking the piss out of them. 
 

Nelson has already had a solid loan at this level. People are just fed up with the same idiots getting to make mistake after mistake. 
 

I’m very aware people go overboard when calling for youth but it’s utterly embarrassing how many posters love bashing them. 
 

Braybrooke is 21. Will probably be in league one from January and then who knows. Development isn’t always linear.

Bobby Reid has tweaked his hamstring. Not convinced he’s an effective winger anyway. Doesn’t have pace or obvious dribbling ability. Hopefully Mavididi is fit!
