Claudio Fannieri Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 Aside from a few players this squad is so unlikeable. Really am losing any enthusiasm for this group.
Hales Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 (edited) The changes we need to make are the owner and the board. There is no point continually changing managers when they are given no support, no money to build the squad they want.......this has been going on for far too long now. Changes need to come from the Top - excuse the pun! When Susan left I knew this would just get worse. Rudkin needs to go! Edited 4 November 2025 by Hales 1 1
Hammo Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 Not up to it, is he? It’s not the late equaliser that should condemn him but the fact that we all knew it was coming. This is a bad team getting worse, and he looks incapable of doing anything to stem the tide. 4
K789 Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 The lack of forward runners. The slow possession. Its all on this clown

RobHawk Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 Post Swansea, I was very pro Marti and felt that was going to be a real turning. 4 games later and I was very wrong. Any successful team has a solid spine, those who you can trust to play week in week out and play their all. We don't have that under Marti and he seems lost as to who his best team is, chopping and changing the personal with no real change in performance. Nelson should always have been a part of that spine and has been left out until tonight, James is out best CM and keeps getting moved out of position or subbed off. I'd even rather see Hamza start week in week out rather than soumare or skipp. The personal aren't great but we aren't utilising them as we should either. I'd do anything for big Nig to be well enough to come again. 1
Popular Post Sly Posted 4 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 4 November 2025 It’s a very tight league and the difference between the team in 24th, to the team in first over a 90 minute game is quite small. A good manager and back room team, basically come up with a tactical plan and motivate the players to give that 1 or 2 % extra in a game over the opposition to get you over the line in games. I still believe we have more technical ability than some of the teams we’ve played, however I can’t tell you what or how we are trying to play. When we’ve been successful, like all teams that have been successful, you know how they’re going to setup. We knew with Ranieri, we’d break play up an counter. With Enzo we crowded the midfield and out played team. Rodgers played with a high press and energy, with a very technical side. At this stage, you’ve got to look at the attributes you have within this squad and just think, what do we do with them? A good coaching setup does that well. We do not have a good coaching setup, from an outside looking in. 9
Horibbly Wrong Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 I feel like he is a lightweight manager.. mid-table champ level. Our success has always come under managers who can unite the players, he doesn't seem capable of that

They need replacing before we consider the manager change 1
whoareyaaa Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 You could take Skipp out and put Monga or Mav in and it gives them something to think about, Ayew is to slow as well imo. We are bare thin though when it comes to attacking threat/goals
Nolucklcfc Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 I don’t think we’ve had a game this season where he’s been able to change the momentum in a game in the second half.

I agree, because we haven’t got any identity, we are just appointing managers now and hoping for the best.. it’s scatter gun. That means, it’s unlikely we get the right man for the job even if Marti was sacked. We just got very lucky with Enzo Edited 4 November 2025 by JonnyZeroFox 1

We are never making it back to the premier league with this owner and board. They are recruiting the wrong players, not spending money wisely, not supporting a manager. Top is not bothered about the club - its a thing on his CV and to brag about but he doesn't really care - he cares more about polo!

Mav to start over Ayew and Hamza or Ricardo over Skipp... also Daka for Carranza maybe although he done ok today 1 more game for me. Daka has scored 1 in 50?

Even then we still conceded a sloppy goal and Vestegaard nearly gifted them one. Carranza is ****ing awful. I'd rather play Faes upfront.
OntarioFox Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 (edited) Norwich are shit. Like, proper shit. I still expect them to do us at the weekend. I was there when Sousa lost his job after a game at Carrow Road. I expect Marti will claw on until the inevitable happens on Saturday then suffer the same fate, after gifting three points to what - let's face it - is now a relegation rival. I have incredibly mixed feelings about Kingy waiting in the wings to take the reins, because it isn't going to be a pretty season whoever is in charge with this soiled thong of a squad. I love him and don't want him tainting with it, but at the same time I think Top and Co, despite their complete lack of brains, know the fanbase will give him more time than anyone else in this situation given just how dire our player options are. I would say he'd at least have the balls to drop the wastemen and play the kids, but I dunno, I've sat through five years of this shit now and I'm running out of times I can say with a straight face that the next manager will dare to try it. Even Enzo clogged up a bench spot by signing Coady. Edited 4 November 2025 by OntarioFox
sdb Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 Today was RVN levels. I have absolutely no idea how we were planning to win that game and didn't at any point. The problem with replacing him is we'll just get someone as bad. I'm just wanting to get a white flag out for the club at this point. 3
Pliskin Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 Take out all of the outside noise, Marti is doing extremely poorly. I mean that game was ****ing horrible…. Walking pace football with zero ****ing threat. With the wide players we have, we should be playing transitional football, that what we’re seeing here. We need a manager who is going to play a high pressing game and will utilise transition. We don’t have the players to try and play “possession” football. We need someone who will go back to the basics of the game and get them right. And try and find a team that at the very least fights. This squad, as despicable as it is is better technically that its current showing. We can’t change the players and the two bellends running the show aren’t going anywhere. So may as well bin Marti off and try something else.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 If he can just keep us up I will be happy, alot of dead wood will be leaving at the end of the season. Whoever are manager is next season will have the best opportunity possible to get this club moving in the correct direction again. Good luck to the twat, whoever it is.
Cropwellfox Posted 4 November 2025 Posted 4 November 2025 We haven’t actually had a decent 90 minute performance once this season. Utterly abject and heading for league one. Detestable collection of twats in the squad managed be a guy who’s completely out of his depth. 4

We just got very lucky with Enzo exactly this and we are now falling so far the managers we can attract is few and far between. They just sack the manager and appoint whoever wants the job. The rot has been like this for too long. Brendan should of been sacked far sooner and yet now we just fire managers and hope for the best! This board has no interest in actual football its a business that they are not running well and a vanity project for Top. We got lucky with Enzo but the chances of that happening again are zero 2
