Get Hassenhutl if Cifuentes goes.

Who in their right mind would appoint Martin?
We would.

Not forgetting Ian Branfoot too....

I reckon the club will give him until after the Norwich game to turn things around, however lose the next 2 and I reckon it’s game over for him!

The scary thing was Cooper was only given until November 23rd last season when, whatever you thought of him still had us out of the bottom three at the time (albeit only just!)....and you could see the same thing happening at this rate to Marti at a similar time this year if we're not storming the league by then! Then a rinse aand repeat, RVN style by then appointing R.Martin!!

All very valid points. Particularly the point about being able to attract the better managers and players. For me I would give him more time but results have to improve.

Definitely but I see it a bit like putting a boxer in the ring with both hands tied behind his back

It's always that time of the year with our fans

They were booing Enzo in January when we had been top of the table for 4 months

Well he chose to enter the ring didn’t he. If results don’t improve then speculation about his tenure is going to ramp up.

People stating the country people are from is irrelevant. They are either good enough or not.

It’s merely that they can’t spell, and can’t be bothered to check back and look, I don’t believe it is racism.

Wow you lot really are delusional if you think that changing the manager will completely change the culture of the football club and that ultimately is why we’re failing !

Look at Man Utd

Did a whole list of managers one after another change anything ?

Rangers in Scotland ?

Last time we were in this division we got promoted under a newly appointed manager. Why didn't we fail back then if the culture is why we're failing?

You’re not wrong.

People live in hope we will get another Enzo, but it won’t happen. Plus, if Marti gets sacked, isn’t that just another manager to get no backing in the January window because we’ve spent what little we had sacking the manager.

The culture starts at the head of the organisation, that’s what needs changing.

Spot on !

Like someone else said here yesterday

Khun Top doesn’t respect the football club or his position so if the players see that then what message does that send to the players and staff  ?

Ultimately you reap what you sow !

Well yes,  but we all don’t know what was promised before taking the job .

ffs all i want is a manager who will play the youth and banish the likes of Faes, Skipp, Soumare, Vesty, Thomas, Reid

We'll need to appoint someone from FT or play Football manager because it's not the reality we live in😂

1 win in 7 probably about to be one win in 8.

is the objective to finish mid table.

how many times have we seen the rot set in once the runs happen.
He should be given two games after the next game to show something, if he struggles to get results then sack

Of course. That won’t stop fans making their own judgement known though.

Im not sure now what point you are making here but a major part of the acid test will always be the supporters contentment.

Personally I think there is room for improvement  but I see some positives and would give him more time as I said earlier. Particularly given the uncertainty as to the future direction of the club senior management, finances and points deductions etc.

Sacking him won't solve our issues fully. We are a broken club from the top. The people to blame are the people who have recruited Cooper, RvN and Marti. As it stands, it looks like they have made 3 bad decisions in a row, and the faith they'll get it right next time is near to 0 as you can get.

I like Marti, and I really want him to turn it around, but if we do sack him, we'll be starting again for the umpteenth time and I'm fed up with it. One issue is the poor recruitment of strikers over the years. We need a goalscorer so we're not relying on our wingers who are easily isolated. With no threat in the box, we are easy to play against, Marti hasn't got that.

This is more than just sacking a manager issue, that is short sighted and easy option. The real rot is much, much deeper and I can't see that changing anytime soon, in fact I can see it getting worse.

So I will give him more time as we really haven't got much other options and I do want him to succeed.

Considering all 3 relegated clubs are struggling shows how poor we were last season and that we belong in this poor league.

  We seem to only get upset as fans when results are bad, relegated etc.  Then we blame the manager instead of the owner and DoF.  All misdirected and too focused on results rather than the deeper issues within the club.

We just need to get it over and done with at this point.

Because we had a significantly better squad than we do now! The issue is not Cifuentes, the issue is Rudkin and Top’s mismanagement. Cifuentes has a weakened, twice relegated squad with no option to spend, no goal scoring strikers and with very vulnerable left back options.
