cityfanlee23 Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 (edited) I'd take Hassenhuttl right now or Bo Svensson, both have been part of the Red Bull network, both aim to play a relatively exciting brand of football. Adi Hutter/Marco Rose miles ahead of us now, but i'd be happy if we embarrassed ourselves enquiring anyway. Urs Fischer would be my #1 but never going to happen with the mess we are in. Claudio Fannieri Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 If Big Nige js healthy and fancies it then absolutely but if not and in truth given Susan Whelan has now left, I ain’t so sure he would come back to work for Top and Rudkin. My choices as follows - Ritchie Wellens Miron Muslic Tony Mowbray

Ric Flair Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 If Marti does go, we need to stop handing out stock 3 year contracts to managers. We are a mess. I'd go for Tony Mowbray for the rest of the season. He will use the academy and if he is as crap as the rest of them it doesn't cost much to shake hands and go our separate ways. However, I think King will get a chance. 2
Popular Post Mickyblueeyes Posted 5 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 5 November 2025 Mark Robins. Mark Robins is the Nigel Pearson type of manager right now. He’ll take control of multiple things and not just coach the team. We have genuine incompetence at the top. The two of them cannot be trusted to do anything. Robins is the sort of manager who will take that away from them. Throw whatever we have left in the budget this year and get him in to build. Any other type of manager fails here. 5

Not sure who else we might be able to bring in.
lcfc sheff Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 If Marti is sacked It’ll be King 100%, we literally can’t afford any one else.
winteriscoming Posted 5 November 2025 Author Posted 5 November 2025 Any other manager’s other than Corberan who could lose their job with the international break coming up who we should be looking at? Yes I know I’m clutching at straws. I just don’t want Martin coming here.

He above us now and out of reach. Going well at Stoke and would require buying out even if he was willing to chuck in what he is building there to come here. In summary, not ever going to happen!

winteriscoming Posted 6 November 2025 Author Posted 6 November 2025 I’d definitely have Mowbray until the end of the season with King alongside him.

Pita Posted 6 November 2025 Posted 6 November 2025 Until Rudkin goes no manager has got a chance so might as well stick with what we’ve got
sdb Posted 6 November 2025 Posted 6 November 2025 When Kasper retires, we need him involved immediately. Probably too strong a character for our owners though.

There's no chance he risks upsetting people he has worked with day in day out.
