When did you accept its over

I must admit, Ive gone through all the stages of grief with this club but right now its just empty nothingness. 
 

There was always the feeling that we could make the right decisions and get back on track, Enzo briefly made me believe we could still achieve it. But right now, I think it’s time to accept, it’s over.  There’s no bounce, no recovery, this is now a complete scrap and start again scenario. 
 

when did you truly know it was over for us?  Because I can’t be the only one that this feels like that final moment of hope is gone?

This is worse than when we dropped in to league one. We'd always been a yoyo club and dropped a bit further.

 

In a decade weve dropped from the highest of highs to probably the worst I have ever seen us play.

Genuinely today I think mate, just an obvious  lack of effort, also a genuine obvious disconnect between the fans and the players.

..but the moment we hired Steve Cooper it properly dawned that we were in the shit and ran by low IQ dickheads. Summer 2024 was the disaster that showed wed learnt absolutely nothing after a brief respite under Maresca.

I think it’s worse than that, we’re rotten to the core 

 

We had some bad times and some very poor players but there seemed to be more fight and a club looking to try and do things within limitations 

 

If the people at the very top don’t care, don’t expect anything to change beneath, this is going to get a lot worse

Well 23/24 was a second chance, and that was a great season, really undid a lot of the damage of the previous season.

Everything that happened since has left me so disillusioned. Too much to name but those listless months under RVN were miserable, damaging and depressing.

I rarely went to a game from the turn of the year last season, I’m not going on Tuesday and am elsewhere for the Stoke game. I missed Portsmouth because I went to the Tigers and couldn’t be bothered to hang around. I was at a gig for the Birmingham game. I’ve missed more games than I’ve been to recently. 

 

My life has been pretty full on personally for the last few years, I do feel stressed at times, but going down the City used to be a relief but sitting in traffic, parking miles away, watching awful performances just doesn’t improve my mood.

 

I go to gigs and concerts and I have a good time. I can’t see myself going another game until they offer a lot more than what’s currently being produced.
