Leicester City Football Club can confirm the appointment of Kamonthip Netthanomsak to the position of Interim Managing Director to support the Club’s leadership during a period of executive transition.

[Jon finally brings out the report written by Susan Whelan concluding that issues were predominantly brought about from mismanagement of the footballing department. No corporate governance. Very “Top” heavy decision making. Report found under a pile of papers and the seal unbroken]

 

JR: [MD reading the report] “Jon do good job ?”

 

MD: “How the **** do I know, I’m a supply chain sales manager now running a football club”

If that CV is real then we are an absolute joke.  
 

Any Board with a degree of integrity would veto the appointment or step down.

 

Football clubs are not overly complicated and not really that big from a revenue perspective but you still need some industry expertise or leadership experience,
