I hope Aluko does well but I have never seen him live and I don't think many people on here have either. So the clamouring for him to play is baseless. I suggest the manager has the judgement to decide as he sees him every day.

A fair amount of posters on here attend U21 games so we have seen him, his rise through the age groups after coming in to a professional football clubs academy fairly late is remarkable.

 

He's got so much raw talent and potential. LB is not is favoured position (that's RB) but he is very good at breaking the lines, be interesting to see if Marti uses him in that manner.

The clamour is also based on the fact our full backs have been playing in Rockports all season

Maybe Skipp and James both play 8's, to help out the fullbacks.  If Aluko pushes forward Skipp can cover laterally.
