Hit the post, had one well saved and assisted one of the two goals we've scored

I know, but I think he's good enough technically to get good numbers.

He's always a step ahead of everyone else.

Before the ball even arrives at his feet he already knows his next pass.

We need to get him on the ball as much as possible.

Sammy and Page in Centre mid give some hope for the season.

Think it helped Sammy to have Page there because there was both a little more rotation meaning he could drop in a bit, but also because Page wants to move it quickly and play it through the lines helping to supply Sammy

Looks better & better every time Ive seen him, creative, keen for chances, looks after the ball well.
Will see him live Tuesday, hope Page stays, good twosome there in the middle of the park.

Curious to know what those who've criticised him in the last week thought about him today?

The way I judge it, he's come back in to pre-season and impressed massively. Burton he wasn't much kop but every other game he's been spot on.

I said he didn’t look strong enough after the Burton game but he was impressive today. Mind you I thought Page was too and I wouldn’t have booed them. No way.

I’d rather see Baybrooke and/or Page any day over Skipp or any of the other so called “experienced players” that constantly let us down.

Knew this year would be his breakthrough year after his loans last year but it’s still blown me away just how good he is. Needs a new contract asap before everyone cottons on to how good this lad is.

He's been class for me.

With a bit of luck he could have had 2 or 3 goals.

Yeah, whilst i still think he's a natural 6 i can't deny that he's got the game to be amongst the goals.

Him, Alves, Page etc are literally all that is keeping me now. I am fcukin done with the rest of these utter willy pullers.

He was immense today, especially in the 2nd half. I was one in preseason who was worried about him getting bullied, but he holds his own. The run for the shot that hit the post was right in front of us, he beats 3 players on the way (shrugging one off trying to foul him) https://youtu.be/I7s4bUaYnDk?t=66. I think today surely has to be his best senior performance for any team he has played for? Footmob rated him 8.2 beaten only by their Keaper.

He is a level above what Winks has produced for us for a few seasons.

This type of player is always going to get games, like Burton, where they can't be top level all the time. But the difference for me is someone like Winks would stink the pitch out on a day off, yet Braybrooke is still working hard, still asking for the ball and still trying to be useful.  A little scary how good he and Alves could become.

Watching him, JJ and Page were the highlight of the day. Sure Alves starts on Tuesday. If only the senior players could put in performances like this?

My post isn't attempting to be confrontational either, I just hope those that had doubts about him before today saw enough to believe in him as we are in a world of trouble without him, Page and Alves propping this shower up.

Was everywhere today. Ran the show with Page.

There's one defensive moment that stands out too and how he reads the game and danger. They broke through, had a ball cut back to middle of the box and within seconds Braybrooke had seen this and got to the ball before their player did.

He made some really good decoy runs too. Deserved a goal or an assist of some kind today.

Much better today, him & Page looked exceptional together. More what I was expecting from him after reading the glowing reports from his loan spells last season.

Brilliant today and was good against Notts county too. Struggled against burton but honestly think that was more due to the circumstances rather than his own performance. Will only get better too.

Most games Skipp has played we could have got away with playing with 10 men that's the diff Page brings and Braybrook

I really hope the new signings can build some confidence and belief once the window is closed and the shite has gone.  They must be wondering what the actual **** they have signed up to at the moment, but there is still a chance to bring the group together.  If this requires paying off the contract of some who don't want to be here then so be it.
