Owynn sitting down to interview Top today by the looks of his post on Twitter.

 

Pretty pivotal for him and the station. Years of keeping close to the club has got BBC Radio Leicester this opportunity - but if it’s just a nice sit down chat without tough questions about the running of the club, it’s decline and the current financial state, the station will lose all credibility with the fan base.

 

Lets hope for their sake, his sake and our sake, he got it right…

Exactly this - it's like a round 2 of the previous nonsense interview. Key insights:

 

"football is difficult"

"the fans need to support the team and club"

"the transfer window is always important...it's not easy"

Can someone tell Palmer-Atkin that he doesn't need to say 'football club' constantly. We understand context. If you just say 'club' we're not going to be sitting here wondering what the **** you're talking about

He's clearly naïve in the football world and with a fool like Rudkin advising him no wonder we're in the shitter. 

 

Even naïve people realise they're out of their depth, realise that people around them are not up their jobs and get people in who are competent and driven.

Just listening to his interview now. His cutting across Owynn before he’s finished the question is really grating. He just sounds so clueless and he is so clueless. Matty F going off again as well, love him, he’s had zero filter these past couple of days.

Didn’t think it was possible to have a worse interview then the first one but I’m not surprised.

Unfortunately Top seems to have surrounded himself with utter incompetents, how anyone thought this would be positive publicity I am not sure. He needs some proper guidance.

After listening to that interview it’s clear he hasn’t got a clue and that people around him have took advantage.

He did not come across as a leader what so ever.

Disappointed he didn’t hammer home on why we are in the mess with PSR in the first place and why silly contracts were given out. IMO he’s failed with his remit here which keeps the club happy.
